It was Jeff Green who said it originally. Of course Jame Corden also claimed it on Letterman because he is a tool of a man.

Obviously I can’t remember his exact words but he shoehorned into conversation the fact that a close friend had recently had a child, and close friend had said to Daniel that watching his wife give birth was like watching his fave pub burn down. It had nothing to do with the conversation, so we were taken aback at the start of the anecdote, and even more so when it ‘ended’.

agree on the Dave segment - I love that he is an integral part of the show, and Elis has probably said the name Davina more than is strictly necessary, but it doesn’t seem to be adding much.

Made Up Games is supposed to be one of their key features, with them trying to get it on tv etc. so I don’t understand why they didn’t get the boys involved and make a decent jingle? The previous ones have been soo good and this one is pretty shit. Sorry Dave, I love your other ones but I just don’t get this one.

(also behind on the pod so apols if it’s been changed/improved)

I miss the Radio X / xfm one. It was fab.

I always have a wee bop when I listen to old episodes and it comes on!

I have one of these!

I also have the "I'd rather drink alone for the rest of time than spend my life sober amongst people" one (and also in print form on the wall).

They're talking points for sure.

I have the fridge magnet. My non pcd other half bought if for me and i laughed so much when he gave it to me. He did not understand

Yeah I think they could have just said that rather than making it seem like they'd forgotten.

I liked the MUG. I'm notoriously bad at splitting things in half so I would do terribly.

I only listened to the first mention of the vintage handlebars last night (still behind, but slowly catching up)... so all this chat has me looking forward to the second rendition along with the random stories from random people. At least I won't be confused
