He sounds really content with his new GF. I hope this is the one for him. She sounds like she's good for him, which hasn't always felt that way to me from anecdotes about others in the past.
I've never listened to the Off Menu pods, but that's been two rave reviews for our boys doing it so I'll have to listen to theirs. Not sure I've got enough capacity to add another podcast to my rotation (especially not one with a back catalogue as long as theirs - I'm listening to back catalogue of Sexted My Boss, and the only reason I'm able to fire through them is that they're only 30/40 mins long (or 15/20 at my 2.0 speed)).

I do think its taken them a.few. episodes to settle into the new format. I think any worries about the lack of spontaneity have been calmed by Lorrainegate (its a real treat! Just you wait.)
