I always think this. I also find her quite passive aggressive in interviews!

I don’t know why Dina expected to get in the final, it’s literally the worlds fastest women. Her ego got in the way, she thought she could cruise through.

I was saying to Mr Nymeria just after the face, I feel like Dina has dropped off a bit in recent years. When it comes to the big races like the Olympics I don’t think of Dina as a contender anymore

She said she felt she was in great shape but as Michael Johnson pointed out, she hasn't run a PB for a while. From what I can see she last acheived it in 2022. The 100m is jam packed full of incredible athletes - she needs a PB to be up there with the best of them imo.

She was asked “And how are you feeling?” (interviewer no doubt expecting a standard answer like I’m feeling strong / training has been going well / I’m going to get out there and enjoy myself) and she just said:

Where has the athletics gone now then (Beeb)?
The eurosport/discovery+ coverage is so superior to the BBC, the constant cut backs to the studio or interviews when there are events happening that they could have been showing was doing my head in.
I have Discovery+ and it’s mega. If the Beeb are showing it I’d rather watch with them, their commentary is better but also supremely comforting to me as they’ve been narrating the greatest show on earth, what seems like, all my life.
