I haven’t listened in months but yesterday thought I’d give it a go again …

Rob still interrupting 😂

Josh STILL sleeping on the floor…Josh doesn’t normally annoy me but come on WHY is he sleeping on the floor? Is Rose also sleeping on the floor? 😂

Needlessly to say I turned it off.
They are decorating the kids rooms I believe and the kids are in the bed with rose. I would have taken the sofa, but with rose being an interior decorator it's probably an uncomfortable fancy sofa 🤣

My no1 tip for new parents would be fit as many double beds in your house as you can, makes co sleeping so much easier. That house must have several spare bedrooms, just buy a few beds! When we lived in a flat we delayed getting the youngest a nursery ready as he was just going to co sleep anyway, so we kept that room as a spare and my husband slept in there with the older one.

One minute he’s complaining about not being into the World Cup this year and going to bed at half time, the next he’s watching the England match in America with Gary Linekar 🙄 why’s he even invited?

I was waiting for it. I reckon he knew that he was going and that’s why he did the vid. I knew at some point he’d be over there. I mean fair play, opportunities and all that. But that book… 🤔

He also called it “work”.

In all fairness to him, he did mention the other day about filming Rob and Romesh at the mo so he may have been going out there for that. But probably still dining out on his euros ‘drunk eating chicken by a bin’ popularity from 5 years ago 👀

This game was a lot earlier than the others and him being in America watching it is different from being in the UK with a 9pm BST kick off.

Like the previous poster said they are filming R&R at the moment.

If the image wasn't put on here I couldn't have even realised he was in America 🤣

I actually listened to the latest episode and have actually related to Lou and Rob (😱)! Lou waking up with the birds is something I’ve started doing- but literally not doing anything productive- yet 🤪 And Rob talking about his phone addiction- also guilty! The constant overbooking the weekend is something I always say I’m going to not do but inevitably something always comes up. I just like being busy and there’s too much choice of things to do with the kids 😆

Listened to a recent one where Josh was debating moving his holiday and he said when he does go away he does nothing, no day trips or exploring. Maybe it's just me, but if you go on nice holidays, it's to experience culture and find things that only that particular country has. Totally appreciate that if he enjoys it, there's nothing wrong with staying in the hotel, but I would feel guilty that I've travelled to a country and not discovered it. Just me being very much jealous of the fact he has the time and finances to do all the things, but decides not to. Each to their own.

I guess he gets to have multiple trips a year so can afford to have one where he just flops on a sun lounger and kids much about in the pool and that’s it . He also gets to travel for work (less so than Rob I guess) and so experiences different cultures that way . It did surprise me to hear Josh say that though as out of the two of them , Rob strikes me as an all inclusive holiday man over Josh !

we only have one holiday abroad if that per year so we really try to do a mix of day trips and also pool and relax time (as our kids love the water!!) because it’s a novelty for us and we want to get the most out of being in a new place . But guess for them it’s not as big a deal as travel is more accessible ?

Each to their own when it comes to a holiday too. Everyone works hard and if that's the kind of holiday he wants why not. My husband is a lay by the pool person and I'd rather be off exploring. A holiday should be about doing it the way you want to do it.

I get the impression he struggles to relax at home (and on tour!) so this is his proper downtime. It’s probably necessary for his mental health that he just rests and relaxes.
