I think the change in guests has come from their decision to start filming the pod. Whereas before a lot of guests could just jump on a zoom call or something, now they’ve got to do a full studio set up and either won’t want to do that or will charge a lot more

I listen on Spotify and in the episode notes it says something like there is actually no talk of Traitors but Michael is going to milk it for all it's worth (click bait basically)
I mean, a lot of these people might have been asked but maybe they don’t want to talk about their family for a variety of reasons. I love both Helen Skelton and Bob Mortimer but Helen went through a pretty bad divorce while her youngest was still a baby and maybe doesn’t want to end up getting into all that. I googled and Bob doesn’t really talk about his kids
Yes that’s true, but she often will speak about them in other things and on her insta, and to be honest, some of the guests don’t really say much about parenting at all!

The Faithful of Traitor ep was just clickbait as it was the first one to go out after the announcement - it does say in the episode notes for that ep but easily missed.
I think quite often the pod just doesn't go out in the order it's recorded in, hence today we have an episode recorded before Rob goes away for Traitors but we've already had a few weeks of him being back and talking Strictly with Josh.
I don't think there will be any major traitors chat on the pod due to spoilers until after the series starts now

I’m so behind, I’ve had to endure a voice note from Lou. Poor wee lassie, having to deal with dodgy electrics…oh no wait, they (Rob, from China!?) rang someone and it got sorted. Dog ran off- that’s what they do sometimes. How non eventful are their weekends normally if she’s panicking about the odd thing going wrong? 
Inconvenient? yes. Worthy of a six minute voice note in the name of ‘entertainment’? No. Loved Josh’s complete disregard to Rob’s enthusiasm about his Needoh story . Rob’s such a faddy person, anything new or on trend and he’s on it. Wonder where all his daughter’s Labubu’s have gone

My favourite part of the whole “default parent” bull was her book tour that she dragged her husband along for so neither of them were parenting at all
Also “do whatever works for you” is such a privileged statement. What “works” for me (as a single parent working full time in a low paid job) is not necessarily what I can do.
