Yeah. So from the sounds of it they’ve turned down a bit of promo because they were only interested if Rob was there, but there were some things they couldn’t pass up so that’s why he was.
Gosh. Embarrassing.
Well no one would know who she is if he wasn’t there so it’s no wonder they wanted him there also.

I feel like Rob has such a lovely life now he literally looks for things to feel anxious about ie what if my kids get criticised when they have a job when they are older?

They talk about work more than parenting now and whenever Josh starts a parenting story it gets derailed!

I love that Rob slipped in that he and Lou were approached to do a reality tv show about themselves…like what?! I can’t get my head around why?! I often feel like Rob talks as if he’s far more famous than I think he is. It may be because I’d never heard of him before the podcast but I don’t consider him to be a massive celeb, and definitely not to the extent he seems to think he is (not being able to go anywhere without being recognised etc). Maybe I’m just not his audience though as I actually don’t think I’ve ever watched him on TV.

Tv people seem to approach anybody about anything when you hear stuff like this. This isn’t a dig at them, but there are loads of ideas thrown about that we don’t know about. I enjoyed Meet The Richardsons but I am a big Jon R fan so would watch him do anything. To be honest I probably would watch Rob and Lou stress themselves out but I can’t imagine it would be a runaway success. All it would do is add more opportunities and therefore more crap to talk over Josh about.

I couldn’t believe the episode about going to see Ballet Shoes, Rob gave in to the whining and ended up getting on the train and travelling with them. I understand that no parent wants to see their children upset but giving in like that teaches them that if they complain enough, they’ll always get their own way.

I also struggle to understand the mentality behind this book. Who is the audience? It difficult for parents to empathise with complaints from someone who doesn't have the stress and worry of paying bills, or support from grandparents and had more holidays in the past 24 months than many of us have had in our lifetime. I’d be really interested to know the sales figures.

She should've brought out that range of trendy shopping trolleys instead!

I don’t think you need to see the sales figures…she’s having to set up a table top sale at Rob’s show.
I actually feel for her, I think she’s been misled in to the actual market for this book.

I thought they were desperate when I seen robs insta story of him naked with the big book cover over him (🤢) but when I seen the table at the show I ran here.

I can’t be arsed with the ‘little old me wrote a book, I’m so humble and normalI find it so cringe with a hint of desperation to be liked.

I feel like this push into the limelight has been strategically planned, with the weight-loss then her Instagram being public then more and more voice notes on the pod, then a book which is random af in my opinion.

Like a poster above mentioned if she didn’t want the attention why not just write it under another name?

Edited to amend typo

What irks me is she no longer ‘works’ as in goes to a job she is essentially a housewife so looking after the children the house and associated admin is her role. It would be better coming from someone balancing a job with doing all this as well (like me! ) ha!

If you don’t work - if you’ve given up your career because you’re fortunate enough to have a super high earning partner then of course you’re the default parent..
what else are you going to do?

And if you are in that salary bracket it’s a choice… she can afford to hire a private PA or a nanny if she wants to.

I really can’t believe that a publisher has commissioned this nonsense. It’s so self-indulgent.

A while ago didn’t Rob say she’d gone to college to learn something for a new career, or have I dreamed that?
