Yeah. So from the sounds of it they’ve turned down a bit of promo because they were only interested if Rob was there, but there were some things they couldn’t pass up so that’s why he was.

That’s on the other party too- I wouldn’t want someone’s husband there on tv or radio for no real reason. She could’ve done other promo like millions of authors, such as a talk in bookshop etc. She’s obviously relying on Rob’s audience when she could’ve just added to the thousands of other books on parenting and marketed it as a separate entity. You either lean into the obvious connection ie Default Parenting Hell- possibly a dual book with Rob responding in the book with a slightly comedic slant, or you run away from his projects and release a book as a new author. The content (aside from the privileged lifestyle) is admittedly very relatable. She could’ve used a pen name and just got on with it.
Josh cannot say a single thing without Rob answering with a way to relate it to himself. “I did a corporate on Tuesday…” “Oh yeah, I did one on Thursday!” just say ‘yeah’ and let the man finish a sentence or anecdote!!

I think with the Rob bringing everything back to himself thing it becomes annoying the second you notice it.
We all do it (some more than others) and it can actually be a symptom of social anxiety (which I do think Rob has...) so in that sense I can't go at him about it, but also once you notice he does it it's hard unnotice it - a bit like an annoying beep or something

It's an ADHD thing as well (and Rob def has ADHD) you are trying to show that you understand the other person by telling them you've been in a similar situation /done a similar thing. There's some good explanations all over tiktok and insta reels if anyone is interested (I'm useless at explaining stuff like this )

I thought Josh was so good at giving a few sly digs at Lou needing Rob’s fame and status to promote her book but without coming across as being unkind on today’s Ep. Just enough ribbing which I for one definitely appreciated

Yes I noticed this, Josh - my daughter was ill, immediately Rob - my daughter has sniffles. It's exasperating because then Josh allows Rob to talk and Josh never finishes his story.

And poor Josh sometimes brings his little list of things that have happened or notes on topics to share … never gets a chance to. Can’t even talk about poor Beryl without Rob interjecting.
