Yes my understanding ( unless it’s changed ) is if 50/50 then neither parent pay maintenance. They are also not married so that affects some financial aspects. If one partner earned substantially more than the other it may be the courts would say they have to pay some to the other parent so they can provide equal living standards to the children when they have them, although that is only me guessing! I’m not sure.I like Ebony, but I get the impression she isn't particularly easy to have any form of connection with. She seems quite highly strung.
That being said, she's had a terrible run of luck. I guess with the 50/50 split of the children, David isn't under any obligations to provide financial assistance? I don't understand how it works. My dad had to pay maintenance but he only saw us at the weekends.
