Worked somewhere in the past where I would come into contact with insta huns and most of them have au pairs/nannies that they hide from the public. Some have multiple au pairs/nannies! The scales fell from my eyes when I saw the reality behind the scenes let me tell ye! Don't let these women make you feel less than, they have a lot more help than the rest of us! Cleaners, nannies, so much free rit you wouldn't even believe it

I can tell you here and now the majority of parents are loosing their minds with their kids, not just during the school holidays. It does get abit easier as they grow up, I have teenagers and young adults and they make me loose my mind just not as often

This self confessed martyr has more help than most people, she has more essential oils, creams and candles to sort out her anxiety, ptsd and whatever else she has ( not by any means talking down mental health problems). She has therapy sessions that she takes her gifted leather copy book with her initials in gold might I add!
She can pop off to New York, date nights etc at the drop of a hat. She will just show us her lists to make us believe she is a relatable stresses out Mammy. It’s all bull tit, she doesn’t work or clean her house . She plays with dough and food at her leisure, she has time to take numerous photos to make her life look more positive and perfect. BUT always remember this is the woman who wouldn’t buy her daughter a LOL doll for Xmas cause she didn’t like them so she bought her a beige wooden thing instead, in her friends shop so it was discounted no doubt .
She is far from perfect, in years to come when her kids are older they will have to deal with all this. One of them has to be a rebel and go against everything she stands for
She can play the empowered woman all she likes but she still can’t do a push up
And you can be sure that rebel child will not be mentioned in Her perfect Instagram life.
Her daughter had so much screen time at one point she had her assessed for autism because she herself thought there was something "wrong" with her. Nope, just plonked infront of the TV/iPads all day long while she curated her insta perfect life. Daughter's behaviour improved when she cut back on it - from the horses mouth.
*Nothing wrong with screen time. Unless you're OD using it to rear your kids while making others feel bad about how they rear theirs all the while proclaiming they aren't allowed LOL dolls or character clothes.
I remember her saying years ago her kids never got screen time ect and this would of been when the daughter was young I personally wouldn't believe anything she says her life in far from perfect
That's definitely untrue, the kids were brought up by the TV to the extent she was querying an ASD diagnosis as the amount of screen time impacted her daughter so much!
Ok this has made me feel a bit better.
My kids don’t get that much TV because their behaviour gets so tit.

I feel you.
I think I’d enjoy her content more if she was honest about the behind the scenes. Like Nara smith I enjoy because she’s 100% taking the piss with the stuff she makes and the clothes she wears, it’s obvious and I enjoy it. I don’t enjoy orlaith’s because if it is true that she has an au pair and a cleaner, that they’ve healthy income to supplement her being a SAHM and that she can afford PT and therapy financially and time wise then I’d not feel so guilty struggling along working and caring for my own family the best I can. Transparency shouldn’t be once in a blue moon coming on with a little snippet of what reality is like, and every other time a veil of perfection layered over everything.
she was using a certain shampoo and must have had an allergic reaction to it around her forehead or something
She used some expensive brand the name escapes me now but it’s like €25 a bottle and it apparently made her skin erupt in a breakout room that’s taken months to control again. But she’s always shiting on about her sensitive skin and getting freebies that she “could never afford” otherwise so really who is surprised.
