One thing men do that irritates you massively.

Falls asleep and snores when we are watching TV but refuses to go to bed.

Hardly ever brushes his teeth. This one really annoys me 😖 I have to ask him to do it. And then I’m riddled with guilt because I should accept him the way he is etc etc.

Leaves clothes strewn around the house.

Takes soooo long to have a tit. What do they do in there?

Breathes loudly.

The way he eats things off a spoon. Such as icecream or yoghurt. He only takes a bit off the spoon at a time. Leaves a glob on the spoon. Also literally spends so long scraping the bowl clean, might aswell lick it.

Mine is the opposite he eats way too slow! I could finish 3 courses and him still be on his starter 😂😂. No bull he has many a time fallen asleep eating his tea to wake up and just carry on eating it without missing a beat. He is a special kind of stupid my husband.
Why can’t they just do it at a normal speed 😂

Mine has fallen asleep eating too before. In a restaurant, because he’d been out with his mates first and had too much to drink! Tables around us kept looking at him nodding off and generally being a drunk idiot, I was mortified. I kicked him under the table at one point to wake him up and he shouted OWWW really loudly! He got the silent treatment big time after that one and didn’t remember any of it the next day!

This must be a universal man thing. Winds me up even more when I ask mine to do something and he says “hang on just going to the loo first” and then disappears for half an hour!!

Men are very messy.
The only way I got my husband to start cleaning up after himself was by telling him that I felt like I was his mother, his habits were unattractive and making me resent/love him less. It soon worked 😁

I would have liked if this thread had included men as I know there are many male tattlers. It would be interesting to get both perspectives and hear about annoying things women do 😄
I said in the intro, that male tattlers should get involved....
Could it be that ladies iz just purrrfect...? 😇😈😂

Remember that thread not long ago where someone's partner left a sock lying round he'd done unmentionable things with!?

I've got a lot of questions about this one...

How long does he go without brushing them if you don't remind him? Does he have a sensory issue with a brush or toothpaste? Was he not told as a kid to brush his teeth? Does he go to the dentist?

My fella usually falls asleep on the couch but sometimes he comes to bed

He always seems SHOCKED that babies wake up early in the morning and equally as shocked that we make noise. Whopper

He goes to the dentist yes and to be honest rarely needs work. I don’t really keep track but it’s visible when he hasn’t brushed them for awhile. His mum totally mollycoddled him so maybe he got told to do it every night like a good boy before he left home. I’ve not asked him 😂 definitely no sensory issues. It’s laziness/lack of hygiene and it drives me insane. Not sure how to raise it other than ‘brush your teeth you dirty b’ which is what I say currently 🤷🏼‍♀️

I don't even know what to say

Does he not feel disgusting though?
Maybe this is just me and my weird habits but I literally can't even pee before I brush my teeth because the taste and feel of my mouth is just rank, and same before bed. I know when I've not brushed my teeth. Sometimes I brush in the middle of the day if my teeth feel a bit gross.
I am very shocked, I don't know if you can tell 😂

At what point in your relationship did you discover that he doesn't brush his teeth? Maybe I'm out of order here but I don't think that's an issue you should have to raise with a fully grown man. I would maybe expect to have to tell my teenager to brush his teeth. There's mollycoddling and then there's can't do a basic hygiene requirement that I'd argue most adults on the planet can manage.

I am a dentist and this is a really common issue with men. Whether it’s psychological or just from plain laziness I’m not sure. 🥺

I don't think it bothers him no. It can't do or else he would brush them more often! Hes your classic man's man, has a beard, a belly and works outside so rough around the edges. To be honest I don't find very groomed men attractive so I wouldn't change him for the most part other than him brush his teeth more often.

I’ve gathered from this thread is that men will do the absolute bare minimum until told otherwise 🥴

Not change the bin
Leave dirty plates next to the empty dishwasher
Leave bobbles all over the carpet from his socks
Nothing big really. Maybe I should start an insta about how perfect my life is... oh maybe not 🤣

Snoring AND farting while they sleep.

So not only are they keeping you awake but you have the smell of a farmyard to accompany you 😩

Just found out my (generally very clever guy) has been ringing his sister on full overseas mobile phone rates because our plan doesn’t include free o/s calls. I just assumed (more fool me) that he was ringing on FaceTime or Skype for free - but no, he didn’t know how to do that so god only knows what our phone bill will be this month 😫
