I was just going to say this! Harry and Liam clearly didn’t get on that well. You can see Harry visibly cringing at him sometimes! Harry is naturally cool and introspective and thoughtful .. where as Liam is the opposite! Messy and doesn’t take time out to work on himself.

I think from what harry’s said in interviews he was pissed off that he would have to shoulder the brunt of the negative press the band got when it was other boys’ actions. liam was always a bit of a loose cannon and seemed very hard lad during that time so I think that was part of it. I remember during harry’s first album cycle liam made a couple of digs about how he didn’t understand how harry dressed, he wouldn’t put bear in those clothes and other stuff. maybe not that serious at the time but there’s obviously a nasty streak to liam behind closed doors we’ve only got bits of now. Plus I think they’re just not the type of people to gel regardless. they wouldn’t have chosen to be friends if they weren’t put in the same band together

Another reason for the resentment was Liam feeling he was the "leader" of the band, but the fan favourite was always harry so naturally harry slotted into that role

I don't really think he'd have a leg to stand on if he sued. The book doesn't name him as far as I'm aware? It's fiction inspired by true events. Clever way of exposing him without getting sued.

Beyond the blinds podcast episode on Liam and Louis had loads of blinds that Liam swings both ways. It’s a fun pod for doing housework too etc

There’s usually at least two gay guys in most boy bands! I went to theatre school with someone who was actually on x factor the same year as One D and he was one of the only straight guys in a year of about 15 guys. When people say “these blinds say everyone is gay” .. that’s because in the entertainment industry the number of queer people is way higher than in the general public - I’d say around 25% or even higher. A lot chose the glass closet now if they play leading straight roles and / or have a big following by the opposite sex.

Sorry but this just seems like an excuse for liam’s behaviour because if he’s gay then he can’t have abused his fiancé. Being homophobic ≠ secretly gay and it’s a harmful trope to push.

I think the rest of the band don't want to be associated with Liam. He knows being linked to anything 1d related will get people talking about him
Louis is the only one who goes along with it and that's why he follows Louis around like a dog. It's all damage control. Every now and then Liam will try the same with Zayn by mentioning his name but Zayn doesn't acknowledge him either

I don't think Liam or Louis actually like each other but that's just my opinion. In fact I don't think any of the guys would be friends had they not been grouped together

how dare an artist own their own name… thank god he doesn’t have it or he would have run it into the ground in brand deals etc.

Interesting that they own the name but Zayns older sister was threatened with legal action when she was selling unofficial 1D merch back in the day
