Even though his girlfriend is not to blame by any means the guilt she will feel and the what ifs is horrendous 🥲 it’s an awful situation for anyone to be in and my heart aches for his loved ones

regardless of anyone’s thoughts of him, no matter if someone is famous there is a little boy who doesn’t see any of that and just sees his daddy and he’s not coming home, that’s heartbreaking

It’s sad to think that they’ll probably chart in the singles chart again this week

There’s 6 One Direction songs in the top 50 on the iTunes Charts currently, the highest song is night changes at number 2. Liam has 3 songs in the top 50, the highest song is teardrops at number 3

I was just going to say this! Harry and Liam clearly didn’t get on that well. You can see Harry visibly cringing at him sometimes! Harry is naturally cool and introspective and thoughtful .. where as Liam is the opposite! Messy and doesn’t take time out to work on himself.

This had nothing to do with Liam so to infer that is quite cruel. All of the Little Mix girls will be devastated by this as they grew up together, Liam & Jade were friends in 2008 when they first auditioned at just 14. Perrie cancelled her Live Lounge and Jade has kept her a promo to a minimum.

Liam will never have a solo career period. And that’s because of how shitty of a person he is, and also the decisions he’s made. He could have done so well at the start if he just made better decisions but he didn’t and that’s his own fault. Imagine going from one of the biggest bands in the world to following your ex band mates around on tour like a fan. And also you think he’d spend his free time (cause he has so much of it) spending time with his son instead of going on holidays every five minutes. I used to love Liam and I did feel bad for him for a long time but there’s no sympathy there anymore at all.

I think it’s nice to see the boys supporting each other but Liam just seems to do it for the attention to stay relevant. As you said, the boys found their way and solo careers big or smaller..I think it’s too late for Liam and the time he could’ve actually done something with his career is long gone. I think his ego really couldn’t recover from the 1D fame… it’s a messed up thing to have so young

Yeah but that interview shows how he views his place in the band and the expectation that he would be the big solo.success.
Tbh he was the one in the band whos name I could never remember as there wasnt anything standout about him.

To be fair to Liam it was quite clear during the X Factor they intended to build the band around him because he’d been on the show before. They focused on him quite a lot in the promos and VTs, they probably didn’t expect the fans to focus on Harry as much as they did as their time on the show grew. I think Simon told him what he wanted to hear though (as he probably did with all of them individually tbh) about potential solo success because they didn’t expect the band to be so huge. Liam has definitely relied a lot on being told that as he’s become more bitter about not having solo success though.

playing with a ball indoors is something you’re taught as a child not to do. Doesn’t matter if it was one chair or five. Don’t play football inside. He’s an adult

I thought this too. He will likely think he should have intervened more. I think a lot of us saw this as a potential thing to happen, but dared not think it. I can’t help thinking of that talented young man at his X Factor audition; fresh faced, serious and very good. So incredibly sad. Maybe more allegations were also coming up, as we’ve all seen rumblings. Clearly he had a serious addiction too.

I hope Louis has the wisdom and courage to know that Liam’s death isn’t on his shoulders. But it does seem like Louis has been dealt with nothing but loss, with Liam adding to the list.

I never saw Liam’s death coming, although in hindsight, it was a very obvious and logical conclusion to arrive to in light of Liam’s struggles. I’ve always thought he had to hit absolute rock bottom for him to want to turn his life around, but never would I imagine him dying.

I’ve seen that Maya allegedly had lawyered up and had sent a cease-and-desist letter to Liam regarding the stalking. I’m willing to bet that she had plans to sue him further.

The other 1D boys will undoubtedly be dragged into the limelight in relation to Liam’s death. I’m sad and frustrated about that.

Louis has always made a song and a dance about it because I think it effected his life more. Eleanor got dogs abuse for over a decade as did the mother of his child, people says his son isn’t real, online abusing his sisters etc. Harry doesn’t expose his emotions or his public life as easily. I’m sure it bothers him, or used to but he’d never let them know it.

They all seem to come from somewhat problematic families, except Harry … and maybe Liam (but didn’t his dad push him to do loads of shows in working men’s clubs as a teen .. he definitely peaked too soon).
