Uggghhfckn Nix and her turkey teef make me sick. She's going on about if you want new teeth do it! And she thinks she's such an inspiration

Please witch, you got yours paid for!! I'm sure there are lots and lots and lots of low income people in this country who would kill for new teeth but CAN'T AFFORD IT!! Not everyone has $20-30k to spend on their teeth!! Read the fckn room Nix!!

I gave up on this one. She is so gross now. Gets an absolute tit tonne of free stuff sent to her, comes across all holier-than now she has had the surgeries and free teeth, which yep look bloody stupid, too white in my opinion. She would have been better to stay humble and be more relateable. I would be cincerned how many "followers" will go into debt because she is shilling the "you only have one life" line. True we do, but some of us have to pay for everything which means we can't do what we wish we could aka, mummy makeovers, teeth, endless holidays etc.

I don't see why Maria is an ambassador for the deaf community. I have a hearing impaired child and use some sign language- when has Maria EVER promoted sign language or signed and why is someone who isn't Deaf or hearing impaired taking $$$ and space at a table?

Yea I agree. She never has to pay for clothing, skincare, hair products, teeth, makeovers, massages, facials, etc etc. The amount of free stuff she gets is fckn obscene! Never seen her giving away or selling anything either so she obviously keeps it all. One haul I saw she got big thick warm tracksuits for ALL the family including the millions of kids. Her unboxings are out the gate! Soooooo much free stuff. And then yea, she says "just do your teeth. You'll never regret it" I'm sure there are plenty of poor NZers who are in constant pain because they can't afford a dentist, let alone being able to swan off to the other side of the world for two weeks and get 10s of 1000s of dollars worth of new teeth

I'm pretty sure is the second time (that I've seen) that you have kind of randomly asked about Kelly Coe's recent house sale. I love a good nosy gossip as much as the rest of us but this just feels a bit odd to ask about a house that has already sold and she has already moved out of! Why are you so interested in her house movements? She's actually been quite an open book about moving and the struggles of retail ..and I hate most of her floral dress stuff ..and yes she's a bit stupid sharing the info that she shares sometimes.. ie her daughter's and their schools and her holidays, boat, etc. But overall I'm not really sure why it matters where she lived?

Maria only promotes when it’s near the event . Also, how long is reasonably long for someone to be called a “beginner” ? Because, Maria has been a “beginner” for years . I hope the overseeing committee can see other positive people who are actually willing to be an ambassador for them, novice or expert.

Has anyone written to Deaf Aotearoa to share their thoughts on Maria? I’m definitely tempted but as a hearing person with no real links to the deaf community, I don’t want it to be done from the wrong place (aka wanting to smack Maria’s dumb bleeping face rather than being an advocate from the deaf community).

Has anyone listened to Toni Street's podcast? She's my BEC, but I just heard an advertorial for her latest show where she's interviewing Joy Reid, a former TVNZ Journo who was diagnosed with long Covid (something that needs to be talked about more, as so many people are affected by it). I'll give it a go if it isn't full of Toni-isms (trying to bring everything back to herself!).

To quote myself, I gave it a brief listen ... Up until the interviewee talked of mindset around living with this condition which Toni then compared to her claustrophobia 🥱

What makes a good interviewer, you ask? Someone who sticks to the subject and interviewee without trying to turn it back to themselves! Ie., not Toni or Brodie.

I honestly don't get why Maria is an ambassador for sign language - does she even have hearing issues?
As someone who is severely hearing impaired (I have amazing hearing aids that you can't even see, thanks to the wonders of technology!), and who does use sign language on occasion, I'd rather be represented by someone who's either deaf or partially deaf - I know she already has a gig with a hearing aid provider, but someone like Lily McManus.
