Loved her stories when she was in New York, they were so interesting and she got out and about loads.
Now she just seems to be reading books all day long while her child is in creche, the only bit of Dublin we see is along the walk to creche. And when her child is unwell and cannot attend said creche she seems to be complaining about that.

Herself and Tired Mammies definitely visited here anyway! I see they're both using #gifted on posts about their latest booky freebie at The Dean tonight. Case and point why Tired Mammies annoys me though, she can't just use the hashtag, she has to out up a preachy post lecturing the internet on using the hashtags and telling us all to do it, as if the guidelines are a new thing 
She strikes me as someone that always has to be in charge.

Wonder why she tags whatever she's at as gifted when she never tags her freebie books as #gifted!
I find myself watching her stories less and less often since the untagged freebies started slipping into her content. I want to be able to trust an Instagrammer's book recommendations and with sneaky ads I cannot do that. I've been following her since before Insta, so I'm disappointed she's gone down this route. The allure of the freebies is obviously worth losing your integrity over!, I suppose!
So Tired Mammy received about 13 freebie books in February - nice for her! I will give her credit where it's due as she, at least, has every freebie story tagged as #gifted, which is an acceptable tag in this situation. We could have done without the lecture on tagging though, as you say. It's been the rules since last October. Obviously new to her, I suppose!

That's the word!
She's turning into an insta hun - no '#ad' or '#gifted' on her posts today about the new book she got from Harper Collins. She tagged them and the Harper PR person alright though
And the flowers are tagged as #gifted on her grid alright, but she didn't bother tagging on her story.

I'm so glad to see activity on her thread and to know others feel the same about her as I do!! I feel she has gone under the radar for ages and got away with murder not labeling ads etc. The more typical huns get given out about here so much and these bookstagrammers seem to get away with it.

Ah you're right. I remember now. It was the type of cancer she kept quiet. I assumed cervical at the time as she had mentioned in her stories shortly before that that she was going to her smear. Pure speculation on my part, but that's what happens when you tell but don't tell.
If I'm correct, it could actually have been very helpful for her followers to see that if you get diagnosed early you might only need surgery and not chemo or radiation. Would have been good to share a 'positive' cancer story, and maybe it would have encouraged more women to go for their smears.
Anyway, it's her own business what she shares, but as you say, nobody on insta needed to see her go for a scan yesterday when she is so secretive about the whole thing. It's definitely about the attention for her.
All these years later and she still won't label her #ads correctly. She knows well what the rules are but she obviously thinks she's above the rules.

Someone was definitely reading here!Yeah some of the authors she recommends literally cannot writeThat really annoys me about her, when she comes on saying something and then going on about how don't dare message herI do like her insta though mostly however I feel she's a bit dishonest when it comes to reviewing books by Irish authors. I got a book on borrow box that she recommended and she said she couldn't leave it down, it was absolute tripe.

Yeah, I definitely think there's been some kind of agreement between them to boost Tired Mammy's account. I could totally see the change. They go to all those book events together too, I've seen them on their stories. I'm in Dublin and would be interested in some of the events authors share, but jaysus I'd be nearly avoiding them knowing those two would be at the front using it for content! It's a pity because Tired Mammy's content was so much better before it was all about pushing her book club as a brand and aligning with Fancy Pants. I know someone who is still interested in the book club but they don't seem to get any access to the online meeting any more. It does seem like a very cliquey space, and I get the impression the two of them think they run the show!
I am a big reader and there's a good few bookish accounts I still follow. But the ones I follow do decent reviews and share book content, and it doesn't seem like any of the ones I follow are pushed about promoting Fancy Pants or Tired Mammy, or getting you to buy anything. Fancy Pants dabbles in spon-con sometimes and it would make you roll your eyes...free tulips and dinners delivered to her door. As if she doesn't have time to be planning her meals given she's at home all day at nothing...

Ah, in fairness to her, she does regularly talk about beauty products, and do mini reviews. Still wouldn't use her code though
