Imagine going all the way to New York just to spend your time banging on about having to wear masks and posting pictures of the signs on the subway. It's like he's just gone on a road trip to Blackpool and pratting around 🤨 he's definitely not paid for that holiday 🤣🤣

duck me, this has to be the most miserable holiday I think I've ever seen in my life. Comparing it to B&M?! It's completely wasted on him. Brit abroad or what.

He’s gone all that way to spout anti vax stuff and shop at Nike , he could’ve done that from the luxury of his ex council flat that he bought with the help of the Tory initiated buy your council home scheme (it was a good ole Thatcher policy). But oh yes , don’t forget , he despises the tories ! (NB- I do too, but I wouldn’t contradict myself as he does!!)

PRECISELY! funny how he forgets that, eh. I'm personally of the opinion council property should stay council property, so duck him and duck that policy 😂

The council tend to buy more property though. At least with this scheme it makes it possible for folk to get out of a rut and climb a ladder. It allowed my (single) mum in the 80s to buy her council and then sell a few years later and on to better things and into a much better area. So I disagree I don’t think it should stay council property as it’s a stepping stone for normal people and the council will always buy more and new builds always have to allocate something like 10% or more to social housing anyway.

I'm 50/50 on the right to buy. I'm all for people like your mum @Justwannaseescreenshots but opposed to lazy nasty mats like him.
He should be charged double!!!

Urgh he's just vile! I don't know why I look at his insta cos he just pisses me off 😂😂

There's a lack of council housing in my local area. It's not much of a stepping stone if you can't even get one in the first place.

I’m on the fence about the right to buy. In the 80s when there was a surplus of council homes I got it and thought it was a good idea to get on the property ladder. Now I don’t think it’s right to do. Councils especially BCC have little to no properties, there are such a shortfall for those that need social housing you can’t even get on the waiting list at the moment

And more importantly how the duck did he get a mortgage?!

I think I can agree with you there. It was different back then more supply with demand. I guess also these days you have help to buy schemes which makes it more accessible - bit of a bloody scam though having to pay rent on the remaining however much % but it’s something to get people started.

I mean the (majority) people that are using it now are like him - no official job, on UC, not paying tax but bought his own place using the scheme. If it was families where both were low paid I wouldn’t have an issue. And the 10% social housing for every new build is crap they’re knocking down high rise flats that house maybe 50 families building a housing estate where there’s maybe 5 social housing homes. What happens to the rest?!
There are a lot of help to buy and shared ownership schemes which do help first time buyers though I guess
