Dogs being there is interesting. Drugs, cadavers, explosives... Any other uses for specialist police dogs?
The police have dogs which are trained to sniff out electronic storage devices - SIM cards, USB sticks, tablets, external hard-drives, and so on.

Time after time, the perpetrators have tens of thousands of images, very often carefully filed and labelled. USB sticks hidden in rolled-up pairs of socks under the floorboards, and so on. It's as if their stupidity increases over all the time they haven't actually been caught.

The Guardian claim the investigation is being led by the Specialist Crime Command unit, which, if true, means this is not a routine check-up. It's serious stuff.

Yes, some are trained to sniff out hidden electronic devices, like laptops, phones etc. I’d put money on that being the reason they were there.

Excellent. They do not duck about at all.

He's overdue an actual comeuppance not just an award of mega damages that he can't afford to pay.

Police have been known to raid houses of completely innocent people before, but this seems a lot of effort to go to if they don't already have evidence for the 2013 allegation mentioned in the article

Can't imagine they'd find much evidence of a 12 year old instance of voyeurism?

I'm guessing the allegation was related to making a recording and they're taking a chance he'll have made more.
Yeah, it will be pictures. In the trial his former friend produced a file of intimate pictures of a woman that Clarke had forwarded to him.

In the trial in came out that he had forwarded intimate pictures of a woman to a former friend. I can't remember if they were taken with or without her consent but in any event, sharing intimate pictures of someone without there consent is a crime. This may be the voyeurism offence.

There were also allegations that he took unnecessary pictures/stills during filmings and shared them. So, I imagine that they were looking for any pictures, images, videos etc.

His 'woe is me' posts are embarrassing.
Seems like lots of friends/celebs have dropped him.
