DPD's website has updated and mine's on track for delivery tomorrow. I'm working from home, though, so I can't play it till the evening. But there's no harm in me setting it up and downloading Mario Kart World in my lunch break...

Has anyone else woken up to this? I hope that it’s just the tracking hasn’t been updated.
I've seen people start to complain that they are being told it will be a few days before they get it, royal mail is one that's delayed, am DPD an still hoping it's not affected
My DPD tracking says mine will be delivered today, but I'm not gonna assume anything. Items can still be delayed at this stage.
My controller and carry case are due to be delivered today by Royal Mail. The tracking shows they're at my local delivery office down the road, so they should arrive, but they're not much use without the console itself!

I'm not actually in a huge rush to play it, I'm more interested in trying the magnets
I think Nintendo did launch it on purpose without an amazing launch line up as they don't need to, the improved games sell it and when they need a boost for the holidays the big games can come out.

We’ve bought one to put away for our sons’ Christmas (though OH and I will have to give it a test just to be sure it’s all in working order ofc

I'm very much a physical game person (old school) so - if I'd had complete choice - I'd have picked the non Mario Kart World bundle and then bought a physical edition of the game. But as it turned out I was allocated the bundle, so went with it as it's better than nothing, and I hoped the physical game would come in the box.
But now I know you only get a download code for Mario Kart World in the bundle I'm almost considering waiting an extra day to get a physical copy of MKW and then just sell the digital version on eBay. But not sure I can wait an extra day now.

Do you think it will be hard to buy a Switch 2 at Christmas? Or will there be lots of stock by then.
Just noticed there's plenty of stock at Amazon and Argos... Which annoys me a bit, as I registered interest with Amazon as soon as I could and, despite being a Prime customer, they told me I wasn't eligible for an invite.
Yet now I see both versions are in stock with Amazon anyway for delivery tomorrow if you place an order within 7 hours. So why have it as invite-only and show it as unavailable over the past month or so?

This was my worry and reasoning for buying it now tbh. I remember how difficult it was to get the PS5 when it first released. I know there were other factors with that and maybe the NS2 won’t have the same issues/hype but I guess it’s always a gamble and it’s the one thing my son has really said he’d like (he’s autistic and we struggle with buying gifts for him every year as he never asks). I’d hate to disappoint him.
Apparently Argos has some stock today, not sure which stores but I feel like Nintendo is releasing in phases which seems a good idea as it means stock is always being replenished, so I'd say maybe try late October/November time if you want one for Xmas, I'd think Xmas might result in a few parents hurrying out to get them for their kids Xmas so they might sell out
