Ahhhhhh I've found my people. So, fun fact time. I had SUCH a thing for him circa 2003 - I actually never really watched EE, just caught my Mum watching it one night and was like HOT DAMN WHO IS THAT GUY and became obsessed. Back in those days there was BBC forums for each flagship show (think Casualty, Eastenders etc) and I started a forum for Nigel Harman (called Nigel Harman Online) and basically recruited a tonne of equally as obsessed Nigel fans over to the forum. As EE became more popular, bleeping tonnes of people flocked to the forum/website - we were the top search for anything Nigel Harman on Google, Jonathan Ross mentioned the forum on his TV show, we had a shout out in Heat - Nigel knew about it, and we spoke on the phone a number of times but never got his personal number :ROFLMAO: we used to know exclusives and stuff, like we knew some of the storylines and stuff in advance. It was heady heady days :ROFLMAO:

The forum had tonnes of people on it, but then I went to uni and I sort of lost track of Nigel and someone else took it over and I think monetised it (back in those days nothing was really monetised like it is now) but I don't think it exists now. There were regulars who used to screenshot like every second Nigel was on the screen and we had huge databases of images :ROFLMAO:

I followed him on IG long before Strictly and knew all about the meditation and Casualty etc but would never admit it was me who had the website - maybe I should now (he was always AMAZING about it, so honoured but a bit embarrassed that people found him attractive)
That's so funny, I used to visit there back in the day 🤣

Ahhhh no way! Hello everyone, I am the creator 😂 To be honest I didn’t post much at all, it was mainly you all which kept it all going for as long as it did! I just used to do the technical stuff and deal with press enquiries. The members and the mods were the real heros! It was really fun though. I definitely didn’t expect it to be as popular as it was!

Oh my gosh! I literally was googling that forum a couple of weeks ago and found old snapshots of it on the Internet Archive because I had memories of visiting it back in the day.

I remember there was a group trip to see Guys and Dolls organised and I was gutted because my mum wouldn’t let teenage me meet a bunch of strangers off the internet to go and see Nigel on stage 😂

That's amazing. I never visited the forum but I used to read Heat every week so I'm sure I probably saw the shout out. Heat back then was a great source for Nigel interviews and pics, they were obsessed with him too back then.

It's funny - sometimes you look back at people you used to fancy and wonder what it was you found so attractive about them in the first place... but with Nigel I so so get it and I'm definitely developing an obsession again 😆

I believe he's leaving Casualty? Anyone know what he has in the pipeline afterwards? More TV I hope.

No idea what he has lined up next but I hope it's a musical! He's kept busy doing lots of theatre so with a bit of luck that will continue.

He looked devastated, he’s very hard on himself, but did make mistakes. He’s vastly popular on the polls though!

I really believe in my heart that a rumba or AT to Closer by Nine Inch Nails would earn him a 40.

I think the judges are too harsh when it comes to criticism of him. Others make mistakes and are told it's fine.

I really felt for him last night. I think he and Katya felt they had done well, until the comments from the judges started, and they certainly deserved to be a lot closer to other scores on the leaderboard.

I don't think I've seen mention on this thread of Nigel being in the series Hotel Babylon? He joined in series 4 I believe. Aside from his utter gorgeousness, it was a brilliant watch in earlier series with Tamzin Outhwaite, Max Beesley and Dexter Fletcher. I might dig out my dvd box sets and rewatch.

I feel gutted that he looked so gutted after every single judge said 'mistake', it really does feel as though he can't do anything right cos even when he doesn't make a 'mistake' he isnt getting rewarded with the higher scores. I'm only watching strictly for him cos I bloody hate it, and I'm praying he doesn't do the tour cos I really don't want to buy a ticket 🤣. It was lovely seeing Vito try to cheer him up though!

I've never seen it but think you can buy the season on Prime. Is it worth it? ie. Is his character a bucket of filth like Rickman was?

I honestly can't remember but I found it really great to watch besides feasting your eyes on him would be a treat in itself. When I bought the dvds they were dead cheap at the time, maybe ten years ago?

I really hope there’s a producer or casting director out there watching Nigel on Strictly and realising that his charisma and talent would make him perfect for whatever project they’re working on.

Most celebs do Strictly for a career boost and I’d love for it to lead to more opportunities for Nigel now he’s done with Casualty; it would be great to see him back on stage sooner rather than later.
