Ahhhhhh I've found my people. So, fun fact time. I had SUCH a thing for him circa 2003 - I actually never really watched EE, just caught my Mum watching it one night and was like HOT DAMN WHO IS THAT GUY and became obsessed. Back in those days there was BBC forums for each flagship show (think Casualty, Eastenders etc) and I started a forum for Nigel Harman (called Nigel Harman Online) and basically recruited a tonne of equally as obsessed Nigel fans over to the forum. As EE became more popular, fucking tonnes of people flocked to the forum/website - we were the top search for anything Nigel Harman on Google, Jonathan Ross mentioned the forum on his TV show, we had a shout out in Heat - Nigel knew about it, and we spoke on the phone a number of times but never got his personal number we used to know exclusives and stuff, like we knew some of the storylines and stuff in advance. It was heady heady days

The forum had tonnes of people on it, but then I went to uni and I sort of lost track of Nigel and someone else took it over and I think monetised it (back in those days nothing was really monetised like it is now) but I don't think it exists now. There were regulars who used to screenshot like every second Nigel was on the screen and we had huge databases of images

I followed him on IG long before Strictly and knew all about the meditation and Casualty etc but would never admit it was me who had the website - maybe I should now (he was always AMAZING about it, so honoured but a bit embarrassed that people found him attractive)

i have loved him for like 20 years, i was obsessed with him on eastenders, and i am making it my life’s mission to keep him in strictly for as a long as possible. ideally long enough to a rhumba.

his soft voice and how he smiles with his whole face are just bonus points to how he is.

We are loving life right now!!! So much Nigel to enjoy - baby Nigel in EE, plus we have Casualty (which I am watching exclusively for him) plus Strictly!!

Yes I've met him, first time was back when he did 'Guys and Dolls' right out of EE. When he was still famous and popular he was actually very shy and quiet at the stage door. Fast forward to the last time I met him when he did 'Glengarry Glen Ross' and he was super chatty and friendly. Age/time/meditation agrees with him! He was a total sweetheart. Sadly I didn't get to see him in 'The Da Vinci Code' because it was cancelled halfway through.

I have been very lucky to have been able to see him in 7 different shows. When I say I'm a fan, I'm a super fan

Said it before will say it again, Tish has never had the same chemistry with anyone that she had with Nigel. Never gotten over Dennis dying Eastenders has more revived corpses than The Walking Dead, if Dennis/Nigel ever rocked back up in the square there would be no. questions. asked.

The DM really have it in for him, no idea what that's all about but with the definite undermarking that's gone on (I never watch Strictly but had made an exception this year for the lovely Nigel) it all feels a bit like an agenda somehow...which is odd. Could it be purely sour grapes from the Strictly press machine because of the tour? (I would have considered going to it purely to see him, if he'd been on it). That seems incredibly petty though.

It has taken the spark out of Strictly for me. I was hoping he’d absolutely smash the Charleston and get the first 40. Watching last nights show tonight, with a heavy heart!

Honestly if I was guessing I would say Shirley's deep love of everything Giovanni Pernice is equally matched by her very real deep dislike of Katya Jones.

I don't understand why she has to rip him apart like she does - and its not the first time either. There is criticism and then there's being mean, she's definitely mean. I wanted to give him a hug... I really hope he's still enjoying it and she's not kicking the confidence and enjoyment out of him weekly.

So to celebrate 40 years of EastEnders there's a viewers poll asking fans to vote in lots of different categories for their favourites and for sexiest male theres no Dennis Rickman !?!
I'm pretty sure for best couple there's no Shannis option either, ridiculous.

Just gotten to the episode of Classic Eastenders where Dennis and Sharon bang for the first time. The sexual tension was insane! I'll never forget them knocking over the lamp.

Thrilled to see Nigel looking so happy and handsome tonight who knows what could of been but what he did give us was AMAZING so that's what I'll be celebrating, what a treat we had seeing him dance every week for nearly 3 months, Love ya Nige you did the fans proud, and keep dancing !!!

Im so glad those episodes have been on drama lately so I now have them recorded . Unfortunately he's now hooking up with zoe - it's so wrong! But if memory serves, Dennis will be back secretly getting it on with Sharon again soon!

Dennis and Sharon have only slept together once so far in the Classic EE episodes I am currently on so I'm way behind. Lots of filth to look forward to!

I've also started watching Casualty from the first episode Nigel appears in.

Who'd have thought that 20 years after having a humongous crush on him, I'd be back in the same place... that place being one of sheer perving.
