I want to say he's maybe in a third of the play (or maybe a little less). An hour in he probably arrives with his characters' wife. He's larger than life, dressed in a lovely suit and looks very handsome. He definitely commands your attention. I really enjoyed the play in general and do have a second ticket booked next month - this was just an extra trip because I had a Sat night free and I was in London anyway.

I did wait around for half hour after hoping to see him, but standing there alone felt a bit awkward once everyone else in the bar area had left, and I decided to catch the train rather than wait for the next. Next time I go I'm going with a friend so hopefully it will be less awkward.

Thank you @Moaninginprivate

Nigel always commands the stage, especially when he arrives in a suit, looking dashing. It is good to hear of his acting roles and how he is perceived, he has always been a joy to support.

It is press night tonight, he will give it everything as usual and hopefully have great reviews.

Please keep us up-dated when you go again. I will be there towards the end of the run. ☺

Funny you should ask that today, cos I just got back from the added matinee 🤣. Today was the day I was seeing it again in the evening, so decided to get a matinee ticket too. Unfortunately I'm ill though so managed to return this evenings tickets and just stuck to the matinee. It was nice to see it at the start of the run and the end too, Nigel doesn't have a lot of time on the stage but he certainly makes a big impact. He's so sinister one minute, but friendly the next.

Also, this episode was on drama today - his Dennis days 🥰
That forbidden love affair had me so confused.

The episode it was rumoured he was to die, my mum forbade me from watching it. I'd gone into hospital for emergency surgery on Boxing Day after being really ill, and the night of the episode my mum came in to tell me my cat had gone missing. She knew I liked Dennis and thought the episode would push me over the edge 😁

Yeah this weeks been brilliant, so pleased for him and Kat

In the results show when he said the little kids in his road took turns to one by one give him a cuddle and sweet last week it nearly tipped me over ngl 😭
Yes that was very sweet. He's so awkward and hot at the same time.

Might have to start watching Casualty for the first time since the 90s 😆

Tanned, angsty Rickman throwing people around is never a bad thing imo

Any thoughts on this coming Saturday's dance ?
hoping their could be lifts , apparently he having physio but reckon that's pretty standard .
i’m hoping it will be a hamza style MOMENT 🙏🏻

also loving classic ee right now, just as angsty as i remember it the first time around. and he looks like an absolutely filthy kisser tbh

What absolute bullshit
Yeah I know
I was over on the EE thread when I saw it and so many lovely posters over there were saying where is Dennis ?

The short list had the likes of Paul Nicholls on it for Joe so it covered all decades of the soap
Also when I saw the Carter's up for all time best couple or whatever it was and no Tish and Nigel, gutted.

The play has had really good reviews and Nigel has been highlighted as having a great impact and aura about him, when he arrives for the dinner party with Jemima. That role in the play seems to suit him so well, the casting director did a good job.

It has been a near sell out for the whole run, they added an extra matinee performance a week or so back for today. Hopefully the reviews of his work will lead to further roles now that he is back in business. Would love to see him in a big musical theatre role, acting, singing, dancing, the whole of his repertoire.

@Moaninginprivate when are you next going to the play or have you already had your second dose of Le Harman. 😁 I am looking forward to the magical half hour or so, watching him doing his thing later this week.

I had read lately about a show that Nigel is doing in December, and went to have a look this morning. I flipping typed in Nigel Havers, and looked bemusedly at the results 😁.

More caffeine was obviously needed!

No idea what he has lined up next but I hope it's a musical! He's kept busy doing lots of theatre so with a bit of luck that will continue.

I grew up quite near Aylesbury but now live away. If I was still in the area, I would 100% do the same 😆

I feel gutted that he looked so gutted after every single judge said 'mistake', it really does feel as though he can't do anything right cos even when he doesn't make a 'mistake' he isnt getting rewarded with the higher scores. I'm only watching strictly for him cos I bloody hate it, and I'm praying he doesn't do the tour cos I really don't want to buy a ticket 🤣. It was lovely seeing Vito try to cheer him up though!

I don't think I've seen mention on this thread of Nigel being in the series Hotel Babylon? He joined in series 4 I believe. Aside from his utter gorgeousness, it was a brilliant watch in earlier series with Tamzin Outhwaite, Max Beesley and Dexter Fletcher. I might dig out my dvd box sets and rewatch.
I really enjoyed him in that, I had the dvd once but im not sure what I did with it. Did anyone see 'The Outsiders'? A spy type thing he did for itv, I quite enjoyed it!
