My husband and dad both don’t wear theirs, some guys just aren’t into jewellery that much or worry about losing it, so it might be similar for Nigel.

Yeah I think that makes sense and is likely to be the case, also I'd imagine most actors aren't able to wear there real life rings when in theyre in character so maybe he didn't see the point in having one sort of thing.

There were some technical issues I did agree with Anton about his posture seeming a bit out when he was in hold but you could see and feel the effort he was putting into the story telling and 'they had breakfast in the morning' so he must of done something right

I wonder if some of it is him not playing the game, as in his wife has been around and referenced by him a lot, so there hasn’t been much room for the papers to try and say he’s having affair.

Yeah it's so daft, he's been welcomed back for ITT two tomorrow and he's there for the final hopefully dancing aswell so there's no bad blood on either side (big contrast to Amanda who won't be there because there really were issues)

I went to see Nigel's new play yesterday. Sadly he's not in it much, but when he is, he's great! Playing a nazi bastard

Please would you give a fuller resume of the great man in action. The play is only 90 minutes long, exactly how long do the audience have to wait before they see the person they have come to watch. Am sure he plays the role brilliantly, he is always captivating and charismatic, even as a nazi b'stard.

Funny you should ask that today, cos I just got back from the added matinee . Today was the day I was seeing it again in the evening, so decided to get a matinee ticket too. Unfortunately I'm ill though so managed to return this evenings tickets and just stuck to the matinee. It was nice to see it at the start of the run and the end too, Nigel doesn't have a lot of time on the stage but he certainly makes a big impact. He's so sinister one minute, but friendly the next.

Thanks for the update, my premonition sense must be working! Hope you are feeling better, surely seeing Nigel must have helped a little. So you didn't wait in the bar to see if he was gasping for a drink?

He has been announced as joining the cast of the 'We Aren't Kids Anymore' concert. Seems it is a one off performance, perhaps it may be a precursor to a theatre run at some point? So good to see him having another casting, he always proves to be an excellent addition to any cast.

I honestly couldn't face it last night either i didnt particularly want to go out in the middle of a bloody storm but I ended up saying yes to a take away round my mates house just to get me out and away from it, i felt so stupid for still feeling low so I'm honestly glad I'm not alone


ETA : Has it definitely been confirmed he's back for final and might do the group dance etc ?

It’s just not the same anymore is it? Funny how things like this can affect us but they really do sometimes.

I don't think Nigel has ever made any kind of complaint against the show he was very good about all really but yeah I'd say broken bones on top of those who suffered hitting, spitting, kicking verbal abuse etc it all builds a picture of a bad work environment and behind the scenes culture .

Yeah I agree, I dont think the age gap helped matters either like when she was about 19/20 he would of been around 31 so maybe that didn't sit quite right with him as an actor I doubt they had much in common sort of thing .
