absolutely. the stories of Farage prancing around Dulwich with his hand in the hitler salute and being a supporter of the national front precede his Reform days. I'm not surprised they are circling around again.

Posted on the UK politics thread but relevant here. This could be why Ziah Yusuf is being pushed front and centre (apart from the v awkward position in between the british public and his best friend Donald in regards to our involvement in the Iran war)
The Farage story could be huge.
There will be an investigation into the £5m and why it was given.
Its compounded by the fact that same donor has donated to 3 Farage backed projects, Brexit Party, Ukip and Reform.
And interestingly because Farage said he wasn't going to stand (on the record) this payment came in and then he said he would stand, this looks like a persuasive payment from an already politically active donor followed by policy advocacy aligned to the donors interest (Nigel's sudden interest in cryptocurrency Lib Dems call for inquiry into Farage bitcoin deal - BBC News ).
This could even go further than breaking standards, it could break electoral law, and even bribery laws.
If it is found that he has breached the house of commons standards he will be suspended from the house. If the suspension goes over 10 days or more they will trigger the recall of MP's act. MP's will vote for forcing a by election in Clacton (only need 10% of MP's to do this so it is likely).

Added into this, is the gossip that one of the reasons given for Nigel's rare visits to Clacton, and lack of holding any local surgeries is that he doesnt have enough security... how much does security cost?
Oh yeah that's a great point. Didn't he lie about getting a recommendation from Lindsay Hoyle about not doing surgeries because of threats to him.... so if he now has $5m security, how come he's still not doing them?
You’ve all got it wrong. When he said he needed £5million for protection, he meant protection from being poor.

He or Reform seem to rock the boat every once in a while with something and it’s painted as really really bad but then gets forgotten about for the foreseeable
It’s a bit like watching the Tories run their reputation down the drain from the start - will probably take something that affects the average voter personally to tip it over the edge
I think this cash gift is probably the tip of the iceberg with regards to Farge’s dodgy behavior.
So now it’s NOT for security, it’s a ‘reward’ for Brexit.
