He’s also done duck all since becoming an MP. Barely been seen in Parliament or at a constituency surgery.

He's hardly the only MP like that, tbh.
No, but UKIP MEPs had some of the worst attendance records at Brussels and Strasbourg. Nigel was ranked 748 out of 751 MEPs for attendance.

I know he's now an MP and not MEP but he has set a certain...precedent for himself.

Who'd have thought that the demonising of migrants, Farage's speciality, would lead to a Holiday Inn in Rotherham where some are being housed being having its windows smashed by an idiotic mob trying to gain entry.

The problem with far right wankers is that they don't like being called out. They had their way for too long since 2016, aided and abetted by the Tories, of course.

Not to defend him, because why would I, but that was UKIP's entire M.O. from the start. They didn't believe in taking part in EU legislature as their whole ethos was for Britain to play no part or engage in discussions. No reason for him not to be involved now though.

They’ve actually set fire to it.

Why go to all the effort of being voted in as an MEP then?

Not that I condone that behaviour or them being harmed of course but why on earth do we have an entire Holiday Inn full of migrants?! In Rotherham no less, where it’s probably the only one in the chain and one of only a few hotels in the entire town.

I don’t think Nigel should be stirring things or hinting at inciting hate (he’s made some sly comments). However he’s right to speak up about simmering tensions and issues.

They doing like being filmed either. Why else would they hide their faces and attack members of the press who try to film them?

Why wouldn't they? I can't say I've ever thought of Manvers (not in the centre of Rotherham) as being an in demand holiday location. There's also one just down the road, on the border between Rotherham and Sheffield.

It's all he does, FFS. And he amplifies the "tensions" with his bull. But hey, to you, he's cuddly cheeky Nigel...

The Holiday Inn being full of migrants is actually not the point though is it?
Why are they setting fire to libraries? And smashing up shops? And as for this?
You can’t seriously tell me that vandalising a new estate has anything to do with “concerns” about migrants

Okay but it was obviously built for a reason, based on research and economic demand, for leisure and business people in the area. The clue is in the name, holiday inn. Why is it now a storage facility for migrants, bringing a loss of business and spending money to an already deprived town?
I’d say the same about a bunch of Brits being dumped in a hotel in Somalia by the way, it’s nothing to do with demonising these people it’s just facts.
And they’re not all asylum seekers in desperate need I’m not even going there ☠

It's not facts though, is it? Unless you have access to the Holiday Inn bookings system for the past few years then I don't think you can state the above as fact either. It's quite likely that it was a good option for Holiday Inn as they were running at a loss and it filled spaces. It's not the point anyway, there's absolutely no excusing what has happened today and I don't know why you even felt the need to raise that 'point'.

You said that Farage was right to speak up about “simmering tensions and issues”.
So exactly what issues cause a bunch of morons to set fire to a library, smash up shops and steal trainers? I thought the riots were supposed to be peaceful protests about the murder of 3 little girls?

But you consistently condone Farage's behaviour and usually go out of your way to minimise the more contentious things that he comes out with. Whether you're aware of it or not, that makes you part of the problem.
