Second means nothing. You win the seat or you lose.Yeah reform came second in NINETY EIGHT constituencies![]()
Haha fair enough but they did get plenty of votes! For a fringe party to get the second most votes in a constituency really isn’t badSecond means nothing. You win the seat or you lose.
Switzerland came second to England this evening.
So did Corbyn in 2017. Still lost.Haha fair enough but they did get plenty of votes! For a fringe party to get the second most votes in a constituency really isn’t bad
Corbyn is/was part of a much larger party rather than an up and coming one. Fundamentally agree thoughSo did Corbyn in 2017. Still lost.
THREAD TITLEI picked my side and I stand by it. I'll pander and eat crow but, as it stands, between the light and dark, there is only Reform.
That's a lot of gullible people who think that DER IMMIGRUNTS are to blame for their crappy lives and not growing inequality.Yeah reform came second in NINETY EIGHT constituencies![]()
I didn’t even know about this so looked it up- I just think the way it gets reported is always so twisted.I'm curious as to what women who support Farage think of his recent comments re: Andrew Tate and his friendship with Trump?
I listened to the LBC interview he gave around the time of the Andrew Tate comments and his words (from his mouth, not how it was reported, I heard the whole thing on my way to work) followed the sentiment. 'Men should be men'. I don't think that needs elaborating on, to be honest.I didn’t even know about this so looked it up- I just think the way it gets reported is always so twisted.
Nigel seems to have said he is part of the same phenomenon as Andrew Tate in regards to him being an important voice for the emasculated. Not anything to do with the unrelated statement that he condones violence against women who don’t obey men.
It’s questionable I agree- I don’t think he should be aligning himself with AT. That’s stupid. He may not know all the details about him- he’s quite a Gen Z thing? He may just have seen his promotional videos
It’s not immigration, it’s mass immigration. The most vulnerable in British society are the ones most affected by the strain on public services, lack of affordable housing and low wages undercut by cheap immigration and exploitative contracts. All of which contribute to inequality. That's a lot of gullible people who think that DER IMMIGRUNTS are to blame for their crappy lives and not growing inequality.
I mean it’s pretty sexist (I don’t like that side of Nigel), but I don’t think “Men should be men” is the most terrible comment ever.I listened to the LBC interview he gave around the time of the Andrew Tate comments and his words (from his mouth, not how it was reported, I heard the whole thing on my way to work) followed the sentiment. Are you actually curious, or have you already made up your mind?I'm curious as to what women who support Farage think of his recent comments re: Andrew Tate and his friendship with Trump?
Ah interesting! Yeah I’m no big Trump fan and don’t condone some of his comments but he does tend to get the same hysterical rhetoric as Nigel. He’s a gauche, brash politician who likes to stir things up like a toddler, not a monster

I don't know enough about Tate to comment. I have, however, have met Trump... And I don't agree 100% but I like him. Sorry- not Sorry. Please don't tell the other thread.
He has many supporters and friends including pastor Mark Burns who was in his circle and still is. I'm a supporter too and dgaf who slates me for it. Tough titty

Nope, genuinely curious. If you'd have read my posts earlier in this thread you'd see that I can actually understand why people might get on side with the immigration side of things, even if I don't agree, but this part I can't square. Are you actually curious, or have you already made up your mind?
It's a shame for any constituency represented by Reform imo. A lot of them don't seem to be local to their constituencies and while immigration may be a big problem in them (I assume that's why they voted Reform), it's hardly the only problemWell the people of Clacton sure won't see anything get better. Nigel's a disruptor and he loves exploiting people, like all the mugs who've paid £25 to be a "member" of Reform, a limited company with Nigel being the main shareholder, filling up his bank account.
