I was in A&E a couple of months ago, it was 4am when I got seen and I was really worried about what might be wrong with me. The Dr asked me bluntly "why are you worried, there's people in here with worse things than this" and then proceeded to tell me to just "think positively" and I would be fine. I left wishing I had never gone. I then went to see my GP on the Monday about it and got the most caring, nice, attentive and friendly Dr I have ever seen, so much so I requested her personally when I had to go back for something else. It really is pot luck.
