I'm deleting this bloody app 😂

Everyday I get 20 notifications from the same post from 3 weeks ago going on about a stolen purse from her shopping bag that was on a wall (??? Why???) and its on camera and if the culprit doesn't return purse then police will be involved 🙄

Should have done that in the first place but why did you leave your purse in a shopping bag on a wall????

Anyway, the constant notification for that is annoying but that's pretty much all that's happening on it for me 😂

I keep getting emails about a neighbor whose shared uninspiring photos of the area with annoying motivational captions (“rise and grind!!”)

Save 👏 it 👏 for 👏 your 👏 Instagram 👏 !!!!

I know I sound super mean but it is almost that time of the month. Meaning, this post comes from the heart. 😑 😤

There’s always the ‘joker’ as well who comments ‘humorous’ stuff on every post and the worst thing is to get the confidence to do that they’re normally a well loved member of the community. I’ve just asked when the library toilets are going to reopen and the first comment is this same face posting a bladder control link from the NHS. It’s then sparked a discussion of Ooh great tips now I’m in the menopause and think my hubby needs this as well etc- it’s not funny, you have too much spare time, someone answer the sodding question 😆

I somehow got made a lead on Nextdoor which is basically a moderator but unlike normal mods who can be anonymous, my name and address was available to any nutjob who took umbrage when I removed their bull. I got so fed up with deleting the relentless adverts, dodgy tradesmen, sock puppets recommending said tradesman, conspiracy theories, personal abuse, naming and shaming, identifiable photos of people who allegedly steal dogs, casual racism and other nonsense that I deleted my account.

I think it was the dawn of my now established misanthropy.

My one is mainly full of people who have had their phone stolen, lost animals and complaints about roadworks. I live opposite quite a big park and at several points in the year there are people who complain whenever there is a music event held there. One even went as far as to say it caused her to have a nervous breakdown and made her child cry and next time she was going to ask for a refund for her rent and live elsewhere for a couple of days (music events happen a couple of times a year there and finish about 10pm). I swear it encourages everyone to become hysterical.
