One woman posted her capsule wardrobe and it was basically joggers and T-shirts (albeit designer ones) all in beige, black and navy. How bleeping dull.
Probably the sign of being large and poor to want to wear colourful clothing.
sounds like me 😳

mines a combination of having one of those mothers who thought a daughter was for dressing up in little outfits and showing off. The amount of times I’d dress myself all proud and be sent back to change because the shirt didn’t go/was for best/too scruffy. I also don’t like restrictive outfits/seams/tight/waistbands. Again probably from being dressed up and having spend the day itching.

so generally I wear loose black trousers and a vest top with a fleece. Easy, comfortable and no thinking about whether it matches 🤣

one of my greatest achievements as a parent is letting my children pick what they wanted to wear from practically day 1. Got my own back on my mother who was traumatised by me letting dd out the house as a toddler in a 70’s brown and orange flowery t shirt, with a pastel striped dress over and cat patterned tights, AND I told her she looked amazing rather than send her to change.

I now have two adult DD’s who have way more fashion and body confidence than I ever did. My mother is still traumatised. Shorts for a pub meal, make her get changed into something “nice” Doesn’t she have a nice dress? 😲

Isn't it nice we don't pass our crappy childhoods onto our kids

I loathed my mother's taste in clothes for me. Think a mini Hyacinth Bucket dress with, god help us, brooches and handbags for being dragged to church. A curly bob, too.
The minute I hit double figures I rebelled and demanded jeans, long hair, tie dye t shirts and desert boots. And no more church.
i was such a disappointment.

it's jarring going from the intense minimalists with just two pairs of trousers to posters like this 😬

I only get temu... izzit coz I is cheap?
Do you get ads for incredible looking kitchen gadgets that you didn’t realise you needed? And, if you’re like me, you order them cos it’s so cheap, and when it arrives, you realise that you really DIDN’T need it after all? Anyone want to buy an avocado stone remover and a storage box for the resulting stoneless avocado? 🥑

Hahaha, what a fabulous idea to create more housing for povvos. Social housing dwellers shouldn’t have the luxury of outside space. I bet they fill their long gardens with hot tubs, fire pits and rattan furniture as well 😂😂😂
Not council but guilty. My stepmother said it’s like step toes yard with a hot tub and everyone says is it a real one and are shocked to learn yes it is not a bnm blow up special. Not my fault I have “hobbies” 🤣

By "hobbies" do you mean swinging, or just sex parties in general ;)
