Are bed bugs the same as scabies?
No. Scabies are mites that burrow under your skin and only spread from skin to skin contact. Fairly easy to get rid of if everyone involved uses the bodywash treatment and all bedding/towels are washed on a hot wash.

I'm now thinking all those "I put on my washing machine seventy-six times a day" Mumsnetters have scabies.

I'm loving the arguing about the large jabs on the hill to die on thread 😂
From that thread - People who like other peoples children are odd.

I'd like to know if she means like the grandma of a child or like 'prince' Andrew ... 🫣

They barely tolerate their own kids so I'm not surprised they don't like other people's children 😂

Anyhow, re the fabric softener, etc smells. I put our bedding in the tumble dryer the other day, before we went away. Forgot to start dryer (because of perimenopause, DDementia and ADHD). Got home from hols and opened dryer to damp bedding, which STILL SMELLED BLOODY AMAZING and I didn’t have to re-wash it.

Do they know they dont HAVE to read?!?
Talk about our collective mental health issues again you bleeping witch
There's a thread on MN in active about how terrible it is that people with mental health issues have so much hate towards them and then also in active people using mental health issues as an insult.

It’s as much bull as the one about the Oxford graduate who partied all the way through uni and has burned through a £50k inheritance in 18 months and is now a TikTok star
I read that with envy, envisioning endless travels after uni, not having to work crappy jobs to raise funds for the next adventure. Then I realised it’s the usual mumsnet lies in action.

Teenagers eat like there's no tomorrow but MN are so weird about food.
If the OP was on the bare bones of her a, I feel like she would have said “look I know my boys are eating me out of house and home but every penny is counted and I am struggling!”. She would have had a different type of response too.

I am genuinely baffled by that thread about the teen boys cooking. Apparently it’s close to child abuse that she doesn’t share her posh oats.

I can’t cope with any more smug humble brag mentions of their strapping, hollow legged, sporty, active, well built, gym going, athletic DSs but ‘as an Italian family’ made me laugh.

Feeding teenagers is expensive - my three cost a fortune to keep full up.
Thankfully they are away this week, so I can spend all the extra food budget on myself and treat myself to some porridge!

You do that fatso.

But...

I also expect to see a post from you where you have all the food and relaxation. And it better not be porridge 👌

Most of the responses are twatty but the OP cannot seem to find a real concrete reason for why she’s annoyed. The teenagers had their pocket money reduced to accommodate their extra food!
If she said “I am a single low income parent, count every single penny and simply cannot sustain the increased electricity and water bills. They strip my cupboards bare and I can’t afford to replace foods. They make a huge mess and leave it for me to tidy. They cook at midnight and wake me, knowing I have to get up and do my manual shift work at 5 am”…..then that’s a different matter.
I think OP is trolling.

She keeps saying ‘it’s mainly because they’re ignoring me’. So nothing to do with the cost, mess or inconvenience, just that they’re ’ignoring’ her.
