One of the trainers in my gym said to me years ago that if it’s loose skin, sadly you are never going to get rid of that with sit ups etc. A tummy tuck is the only way to effectively get rid of loose skin around your tummy, which is a really common thing to have if you’ve had a few pregnancies and lost weight after. He also said that diet is 90% important for getting rid of a tummy, with gym exercises only really accounting for about 10%. Hope that helps! I’m no expert by any means, but he was a really practical, no-nonsense kind of guy and he said that is really annoyed him how new mums were sold all sorts of exercise plans to ‘lose the mum tum’ when in reality 90% of it could be achieved by eating better (calorie deficit etc.), and/or accepting that to a certain extent, loose saggy skin simple can’t be ‘toned’ in the sense?
