There’s a woman who has done some interesting script flipping reels on instagram that shows how it could look the other way round - like imagine someone filming you when you’re trying to go to the loo and having an IBS flare up, or when you’re feeling really vulnerable because your job is at risk and there’s someone following you about with a camera and posting it on SM explaining your emotional state and how they interact with you at that time.
You’re SO right.

My son is autistic, and we’d taken a few months to digest his formal diagnosis I made a post on Facebook (I have 100 friends) to share and to say how proud we are of him.

But our daily life and struggles I keep private, he has had meltdowns etc and we don’t share it because I never want to plaster information that’s not mine to share online. Sometimes I struggle SO much some days (he can wreck my house faster than a seasoned rock star 🤣) and I do almost feel like writing a status but then I stop myself because again it’s his info.

my husband went into work with a scratch recently from a meltdown and he told everyone he’d done it doing DIY🥹😝

This thread has also hit a nerve as she was complaining about easing it on her stories. Rather than complaining why not put that energy into considering whether actually constantly exploiting your children and their lives is actually worth it.
Absolutely, so many of these mum accounts are selfish attempts to gain relevance and approval from strangers completely disregarding their children's right to privacy and security with no regard for how this will affect them long-term. Too many perfect mummies comfortable with shoving cameras in their kids' faces 24/7 for likes and views.

Oop we touched a nerve 😂 ranty TikTok about how we must all be old / boring / have no lives 😦 Oh my gosh never heard that one before from a butthurt creator, never. Off to cry now and reevaluate my life choices. Not 😂

Also lol at her thinking employers would bother spending time trying to find out what comments people are writing in some gossip thread 😂 pahaaa

I wonder what she’s so angry at being said in this thread? Maybe cos we’re on Andy’s side 🤣

Not her saying about people taking time out of their day to write on trolling forums when she’s taking time out of her day to read them

Ironically she missed an entire generation from her rant - millennials and boomers get a mention but Gen X obviously in the clear.

She’s right that some Gen Z are much more aware of digital footprints. One of the things my daughter is appalled by is this millennial trend of posting your child’s every move (think she’s glad I’m too old for that). What about her kids’ digital footprint? She’s not even giving them the choice!!

It's one thing to post every aspect of her own two little boys' life on line but that post about those children in the orphanage yesterday and sharing that their mother's were in prison and that one little girl didn't see her mother....does she have no concept of respecting other people's privacy!

Lol the way she describes us logging into Tattle and posting our comments makes her sound so old. Girl it takes 5 seconds to come on tattle and post, it doesn’t take hours for us to sign in and comment 🤣

She also claims to have thick skin and not care. Why are you making a video about it then?

And her video is clearly trying to scare people that employers will find out if they post on tattle. Sure Jan 😉 ps your theory is stupid, so many people on here are Gen Z hope that helps 🫶

Gen X seem to have successfully escaped any generational wars - at some point Boomers and millennials were pitted against each other and Gen X kept their heads down.

It’s only hit a nerve because every single bit of this thread is true. The exploitation of the kids and total disregard for their privacy, micromanaging every part of the kids day, constant digs at the husband, her food issues which she projects on to the rest of the household … which part of this isn’t true 🤣
Compared to some threads I’ve read, this is actually quite tame. Also no employer checks here and if they did they wouldn’t be able to identify anyone 🤣

I really don’t understand why you would draw attention to the fact you have a tattle thread to be honest? If that was me I would just ignore it

“Hello and thank you for coming in today to interview for our lab tech role, please take a seat and hand over your phone unlocked - I'm just going to check your browsing history”

Irrelevant to an anonymous gossip forum, but we are actually told not to look at people’s social media during the hiring process as it can affect your perception of someone and be unfair to them in the interview (I check it afterwards for the benefit of my confirmation bias 😂).

what’s she’s done is akin to hearing someone gossip about her in the ladies loos and become outraged. If she actually had a thick skin it wouldn’t bother her, but she’s gone on some utterly bizarre rant about generations and search browser history instead. You do need to take the rough with the smooth if you’re making money out of sharing your life, not everyone is going to agree with what you do.

sometimes it gets a bit puerile in here, but I think 90% of the time it’s focussed on her lack of awareness or acceptable that the boys deserve privacy and aren’t simply hers to exploit as she wishes.

Why do they always say about the effort we go to, its absolutely no effort at all to log on and leave a comment 😂 😂 😂 , also nothing better to do with your life, actually I have plenty to do in my life, I have a busy and fulfilling life I also sit down for a cuppa several times throughout the day and go on my phone, I never comment anything negative on tiktok I save that for this place, so if Drippy Daisy Pratt doesn't like it then she knows what to do then doesn't she! Stay off here!!!

Has she deleted the video? Why does she seem ok with men trolling her on tiktok? Why is that ok but women on tattle is not? Talk about a double standard. And no warning the trolls on tiktok about it affecting their career either 🤣 because she makes money off it so she’ll suck it up. Pathetic

In mind tattle isn't trolling as it stays on tattle. Trolling would be getting all over comments and dms? I never engage with 'influencers' on their platforms.

It's her choice to come and read, she doesn't have to nobody is forcing it on her. I came to this thread from her TT, didn't realise she had one until now, and it's very tame compared to some of the others!

And it's an anonymous forum Daisy! My employer couldn't find out my username unless I told them.

I love how they think it’s a huge effort for people to post on an online forum - it’s no different than someone taking the time to leave a comment on one of her videos, something which she needs people to do to drive up her engagement stats.
