Why are some men so thoughtless though? It’s not bloody difficult to try and do something nice on someone’s birthday. It’s obviously really upset her because she over plans every small detail of their lives and he can’t organise some cupcakes and candles for her? What a shitbag. I’d be upset too to be completely honest.

Completely agree. Regardless of what you think of her it’s an objectively crappy thing for him to do and actually made worse by the fact she’s such a planner and makes such a big deal over things. It makes me really sad for the boys too that their dad didn’t take them to get cards and presents for their mum especially as we’ve seen Oscar loves writing little notes and gifts for his mum.
Curious to see what he does Xmas Day, especially after this I hope he goes and gets her a stocking/presents and takes the kids to get her something, he’ll have had a week in between…
