My son is a vegetarian by choice so we have a dietitian. He says active kids can up that to over half their plate, especially if it's more complex carbs. Those poor kids will be starving!My understanding is that about 50% of a child’s diet should be carbohydrate based because of their growth and energy needs? It’s strange because in a recent tiktok she said she has a good understanding of nutrition……![]()
