we love tv. we have it on.any time. we arent obsessed, hooked or need it. we dont use it because we are cuntfluencers.
we also sometimes had it on for the hell of it (brother im looking at you "having it on in the background for company" haha)
we loved coming down in the morning and watching kids tv
in the evenings. and hell, sometimes all satrudays spent watching tv on and off.
but was never "a thing" nor seen as a thing. it wasnt a tool used by my parents.
we had it on at meals often too. nothing better to neighbours and teatime!
but we were all round the table. the tele didnt stop convos. they didnt turn on because my parents couldnt be assed. and they were of course monitored.
i do remember watching a few videos (yes videos) a little too early but what the hell.
they certainly werent used and shoved in front of our faces like we see here with the boys.
and i never felt my parents chose to put us in front of it instead of them. and of course we went out the house doing stuff other than tend farms.
tv and ipad usage has changed so much.and the narrative around it too. to the point normal usage from parents makes them feel guilty! but thats not the ame as this kind of bleep behaviour that wee see from the likes of grinch.
it used to be a social thing. now its different.
and of course i no some parents use it as an aid. but thats different. and not like mrs bitemythumboffbitchface uses it for.
