I mean, she’s clearly not? Sizes are inconsistent and all that but she looks like she’d easily fit into most size 8 clothes, maybe a size 10 for bottoms.

I can understand pointing out that she clearly edits herself to be very skinny in her Instagram pictures, but I see comments here sometimes which try to imply she is overweight which is a bit silly.

I think what Kim and Molly’s comments have in common is insecurity. Deep down they know they’ve landed the majority of their wealth/fame out of sheer dumb luck and privilege, but that’s too uncomfortable for them to accept. They’ve convinced themselves that they’ve worked harder than everyone else because that mindset allows them to believe they “deserve” the good fortunes that have fallen into their laps. There’s interesting research which shows how successful people tend to attribute all their success to hard work and downplay the role of luck and privilege. It’s very easy to say you just need to work hard to win the game when you’ve already won.

Molly mae is such a trend sheep, posting about Ukrain like she has any idea what’s really happening, if she did she would have posted about Palestine as well.

Please don't take this as support for Molly lol because I've criticised her plenty of times in the past but sometimes with influencers, as much as I dislike them, it's a bit kind of damned if they do because they're accused of not really knowing what's going on and being sheep, but damned if they don't, because they're accused of not caring. It's the same when people question them putting up links to donate to charities, as they're questioned on whether they've actually donated themselves. If they broadcast they've donated to prove it, it's considered showing off, but when bigger celebrities don't it's considered humble. Regardless of whether they've donated themselves, I think sharing links to charities is great (if they're legit) because people might not be aware of those and it gives people the chance to actually physically do something that would be beneficial.

Probably an unpopular opinion but if we're talking about news, really, influencers aren't news outlets and it shouldn't be their job to educate people on what's happening. If people have access to social media to see these influencers, they have access to news websites/ people who solely use social media for activism and raising awareness and should be educating themselves. If they need someone like Molly-Mae to share some out of touch, aesthetic infographic to inform them about what's going on in the world then I'm sorry, but they're either ignorant or plain don't care.

Kim and Molly are both very narrow-minded. It’s like me being 5ft 10 and a size 6 and telling short, curvy girls who gave up on their dreams of being models they should just overcome their hurdles.

I’ve achieved certain things in my life that other people either couldn’t or don’t want to, those people will have achieved things I couldn’t or don’t want to. Absolutely wonderfully we don’t all want the same life. That’s what makes humans interesting. I wouldn’t want Molly or Kim’s life - if I could do some kind of Disney film body swap with either of them I’d say no. No shade, I wouldn’t swap loves with anyone in the world because I’ve worked hard to make my life what I want it to be and they should do the same, not try and make themselves feel better about their lives, or certain aspects of their lives, by being rude about other people and their lives.

Being happy in your life means you’re happy for others who are happy in theirs. You want to be a stay at home mum to 7 kids? Go for it. You want to rule an industry? You can do it. You want to stack shelves and come home to 3 cats and Netflix? Girl, that sounds great! As long as you’re not hurting anyone, do what makes you happy. And I think that’s something Kim and molly need to think about because they don’t sound happy.

From what I know because I obviously know her personally and all that, but when you get a cat, the rule is you can’t actually tell anyone for like at least 6 months because it’s just so top secret and confidential but you can obviously show them on social media and tell the world their weird names because that’s okay but you must and I repeat MUST NOT tell anyone how you got them or why you have them or even that you have them because it is top secret but I promise to all my fiat 500 gals that I will talk about them soooooooooon xxxxxxx
