Does anyone know what actually happened with Tanya Dyagileva/Dziahileva? She just returned to a couture show at the age of 32. Her backstory: she started modeling at 14 ~ 2005. She hit the top and walked every runway by 2008, and then something really weird happened.
First, she didn’t show up at fashion week ~ 2009 when she normally did, and cited that she had lost her passport. Then there was talk that she couldn’t get a work visa. In 2008 the year prior, she had done a Chanel show in Monaco. Not that much later, she loses her passport and can’t get a work visa and skips fashion week. Her editorial work dropped dramatically and we didn’t see her at fashion week. She switched from IMG to Elite and there was convoluted rumor that she followed her booker to another agency vs something more sinister like having earnings stolen from her.
Paparazzi photos revealed over the next year that she was dating an oligarch a good 25+ years older. She was seen with him for a WHILE, I mean 1-2 years or so. Her social media posts were showing sights from yachts in places where the uber wealthy play and one photo of purchases of designer items.
She stayed out of fashion for a few years, and returned for a small number of shows here and there, looking less cheery and bright. People worried legitimately worried she was sad because she looked withdrawn compared to her usual demeanor. In her interview at Georges Chakra she even says “I’m very happy all the time.” She completed her degree during these following years.
Fast forward through the next 5 or so years and you see her attempt to return to fashion 2-3 times, training for fashion week and not getting much or anything in bookings.
Boyfriends other than the oligarch have been completely absent. There is no allusion that there is someone who she just doesn’t photograph.
Tanya seems like a genuinely nice person who may have fallen for a path out of working and someone who she thought was her true love at only 19 years or so of age.
Since then, it’s been unclear what she does for a living, why she stopped modeling, if the industry blackballed her (or not) or why that would have been excluded, and what’s going on that she has tried to return to fashion several times without success when she was literally the IT girl and could still easily slay the runway at the very least. She does not look 32 and seems to have a genuine love of fashion.

She does look kind of short. Pretty enough but doesn’t really scream model to me.

Crikey Cindy’s son is so handsome he doesn’t look real!! Those cheekbones! Does he model too? Kaia is very pretty but looks quite ordinary next to him - he got the amazing bone structure.
Helena’s son looks very modelly too - no idea who dad is! She has always been my fave of the 90s supers - so beautiful and cool and elegant and just had a swag that none of the others had, like she had just got up and stumbled into modelling, whereas Cindy etc always seemed a bit try - hard.

listened to a podcast Lottie was on recently and she said she went to state school until sixth form and then she went to a private school which she paid for herself with modelling moneyJust being over the top nosy here!! Lottie has that Estuary English accent, where she obv went to a posh school, but drops her ‘aitches’ for a bit of cred, like William and Harry, looool!
Anyway. Who paid for those fees? Kate? Is Peter (the father) wealthy or do they ALL suck off the Kate money tit? I remember reading back in the day that Kate pays for her mum (Linda’s) everything, which is fair enough, and also to some extent, her brother Nick. Linda was a bar maid so never earnt much.
I‘ve often wondered about Pete. The story goes that Kate was discovered because she and Nick were on a freebie trip “courtesy of Pete’s job as an executive for Pan Am” when she was discovered aged 14 by Whatshername from Storm Models. So if he was an exec and able to expense freebie far flung trips, must mean he did quite well. But Kate very much grew up in Working Class Croydon. Lottie grew up with every privilege it seems (talking non-model stuff here too). Wonder if Inge comes from Scandinavian money.

^ 1000% because of her political views. Brands don’t want to risk losing any customers and they know something like this could end the brand.
I doubt that the The Kills have sold many records. No idea how he supports himself but I'm sure he got a nice wee sum when he divorced Kate Moss.
I agree that Alice Dellal is only a 'model' because her family is loaded. But if you're looking for someone to haunt your house - there's an ideal candidate. (Him too actually.)

lila looks good in editorial because she's unique looking, but she is awful on the runway and her face is so...unsculpted? she just doesnt have "it"
