Didn’t realize it was used that many times and even disrupted sporting fixtures

Well that's rit, on iphone anyway if you tap it it goes away and you can never find it again. So if there was critical information in the message like a link or a phone number, and you accidentally cleared it off the screen too soon, you can never know what it said and can't find it again.

I assume it’ll be different when it’s actually implemented and not just a test

Yeah I couldn’t retrieve it!

The alerts archive on my phone (android, at least a few years old, wasn't a latest model even when new) is buried several levels below the sound settings under the alerts on/off switch, similar logic might apply on other types of phone?

I don’t even know where the on/ switch is 😂I know how to retrieve deleted pics/ videos and messages but no idea where the alert feature is.

I didn't get the alert. Mr WT says it's because I won't be of any use in the new world as I'm passed child bearing age. Have to say if that's all they want me for it's a relief. He was joking - I think 🤔

Nothing I can find on iphone

The "Emergency Alerts" on/off switches are buried right at the bottom of the "Notifications" menu but there's no further menu to go and find the past alerts.

I do think this is a massive shortcoming of the system, you should be able to easily find past alerts in case they do contain critical info.

I would reply to Keir Starmer's tweet about it, but as per all his tweets it would be buried under the 1,500 responses and memes telling him he's a massive wanker 🤣

Maybe as @Miss.Chanandler.Bong says, a real alert can't be cleared so easily.

That's great advertising 😅😅😅
So random! I don’t even like chicken balls 😂 it’s turning into a strange day for sure I’ve just read Christopher Lloyd is at the old DeLorean site in Belfast, could you imagine bumping into him, you’d think you were going crazy 😂

Well that wasn't great. I got the alert but I'm not sure if it made any noise and if it did I have missed it completely

Guess I'm going to die in an emergency

Apparently there’s some networks switching to 4/5 G only so older devices will be useless.
I have 4g, not sure how to check my settings tbh. As I said to my husband, I am guessing it means I'm on the list for the bunker with the VIP's instead. 😆💅
