I think Minnie saw Alex as a role model initially and is probably hurt to see what a toxic and self-serving little scrote she really is. Welcome to influencing, Minnie!
I actually wish Minnie would just go away and live her little life in private, I think she’s better than this really. She’s so young and utterly clueless, and I would hate for her to play out that naivety in public only to look back with the hindsight of age and experience and regret putting everything online.

Look at the mirror selfie with a top tight across her chest and her midriff on show it’s nearly all creepy men. She has two very different target audiences here, and I can’t see how she’s happy to have strange men looking at her children and their home? No amount of ads cash and gifted items justifies that. A kids’ privacy should not be for sale.

Filters perpetuate unrealistic standards of beauty at the best of times, but then to make out you look rubbish…? Compliment fishing much?
To give her her credit, I did like what she said about not needing to kit out your whole council house straight away because for most people that is unrealistic, and yeah, it does take time
to make a house a home, because it’s costly. But coming from the girl whose content is literally about going all out to decorate and furnish a new build council house (that you’re not supposed to paint for the first 12 months anyway) is a bit ironic.

I do get the impression Minnie reads Tattle, I think she’s a highly manipulative individual and uses feedback about Alex* etc. for ideas on how to present herself. She fakes who she is online to get the most engagement, she plays her audience for freebies, she even played the council for a bigger house. I don’t like that about her one bit.
I don’t think Minnie even knows who authentic Minnie is, which will be a combination of her diagnosis and age. That’s fine, but a public Instagram account while she figures that out is not the best idea tbh. She is quite literally by diagnosis emotionally unstable, and she clearly doesn’t respond well to criticism, she’s too desperate to be liked and validated and fearful of abandonment, and her eyes are bloodshot because she *checks notes* is so stressed, probably from trying to keep up appearances. That’s not okay, it’s not worth it.
I don’t think “influencing” is for her right now, she’s got some healing and growing up to do in private, I think she needs to focus on her kids, her home, her real life friends, maybe take up an evening course, do her driving lessons, get some DBT, find a more supportive boyfriend, whatever.
