I watched Leah's wedding on I player the other day and no way did they show the fight but there you are they are basically low life EastEnders for all their preening and posturing. No class, no talent probably very tiny brains and Towie has pushed them into some kind of plastic fame which they haven't deserved. As for Mark looking down on people who don't exercise or go to the gym well there can't be that many he's too short to look down on many people.

Happy Valley was AMAZING, I watched it years ago now but still recall the strong emotions that came up throughout the whole roller coaster.... wish I could watch it all over again brand new!

I still say Happy Valley was some of the best television I've ever seen. The storylines and acting were fantastic. Michelle is no Sarah Lancashire I'm afraid!

Reading this comment confirms to me that being this level of ‘celebrity’ isn’t all it’s cracked up to be. So many people aspire to be like them and have the life they have but it seems it’s all smoke and mirrors and there are some pretty messed up people In that world

The one who says it all to me is Chanelle Hayes. Famous back in the days when lads mags would pay £3k for a shoot and the glossies sold 400k copies so would pay for content too - and she was never flashy, didn’t have the 10k handbags or monthly holidays abroad - yet 15 years on she clearly doesn’t have a lot of money, still occasionally makes the papers for her weight or relationship issues, and it got out there for all to read that her mum was a prostitute. No minor amount of fame was worth the life she got out of it.
