It's interesting where Arg comes into this. When has Mark even mentioned Arg over the last 5 years? I can count on one hand the number of times. Supposedly best friends, yet he's offered zero support for someone who has clearly had major mental health and addiction issues. Even Carol and Jess have managed to offer some words of encouragement. I think he's embarrassed of him. I listened to the MW episode of runpod (Jenni falconer's podcast). He basically says he is the fittest person of all his friendship group (apart from his brother) and that he looks down on people who can't run without getting out of breath. Also how much value he places on looks.

He seems like a really crap friend. He’s only bothered about himself. I think originally at least, he did like Arg and they seemed to enjoy each other’s company. But Mark thinks he’s above Arg now and seems to have tried his best to leave a lot of people in his past.

Who are they to speak about it though?! Is it because they are celebs, are lives more important because a ‘celeb’ is saying it? I just think it’s odd that anyone would be expected to say something about it, I didn’t speak out about it, sure I’m not a celeb but I’m a person, just like the Wrights are people. It’s just odd.

I didn’t say that. If you are in the public eye then why can’t they share petitions/information? I’ve seen hundreds of celebs and influencers do this. They posted the black square so why can’t they post more? It’s all about following the newest trends for them... the whole point in posting the black square was to stand with the black community and help raise awareness, which they have not done. I’m not expecting them to stop racism with one post but it would be nice to see people in the public eye try and do their bit to help that’s all.

If they don’t want to speak up about it (which is shocking in my opinion) then they should have not bothered posting anything at all, jumping on the bandwagon and posting a black square on your Instagram is not going to help anyone.

Someone mentioned it here so it’s not confirmed or been talked about in the media. I think it’s on the very first page of this thread, maybe first post. They said they had read in the comment section of a Daily Mail article that Mark was cheating or had been cheating with Lydia Bright’s cousin. I had a look at a couple Daily Mail articles and couldn't see any comments like that but I’ll have a look through more. Unlucky for these celebs and influencers, it’s lockdown which means we have time on our hands to do some digging .

Edit - Okay, found one of the daily comments mentioned. There were a few about Michelle having another fella on the go too.
It’s still morning and today I’ve found out Mark Wright has possibly been sleeping with Lydia Bright’s cousin who may be pregnant or it might be a different cousin who is actually Lydia’s cousin’s Mum. Michelle Keegan’s ex fiancé Max George is now dating Ryan Giggs’s ex wife, Stacy. Michelle has possibly fallen out with her cousin Katie as they unfollowed eachother on the gram even though Katie claims it’s a mistake (whatever Katie ). This Katie happens to be pregnant with one of Mark Wright’s friends so the fallout could be because she knew of Mark and Lydia’s cousin.

I think that’s the case on most shows he appears on! He gets ripped to shreds on Celebrity Juice and laughs along, but you can tell he’s fuming inside. The likes of Jonathan Ross, who have worked their way up and earned their fortune, must get really pissed off with reality ‘stars’ who gain wealth and fame for being thick, drug-taking wasters.

Lauren knows mentioning him gets under his skin and it’s one of the last little things she can have for herself.

He is so embarrassed by his long on and off relationship with Lauren and what he probably sees as his old self he thinks marrying Michelle Keegan, not being on Towie and getting a job in the states makes him above her and everyone else from his past.

Interesting that the profile for the person who commented on the Daily Mail about Michelle being with Luke and Mark being with Lydia Bright's cousin has been disabled. That doesn't just "happen." And the comment Victoria22 left also alleging it has disappeared. Both comment threads are now locked to further comments. Almost as if MK and MW have got the lawyers involved.

It’s insanely expensive to take any legal action involving comments, even a standard cease and desist will run to four figures and won’t necessarily achieve anything. My understanding was the DM in particular had come up with a scheme to try and rectify how much money the website uses, something like £1750 for a paid for article, but £6000 if you want the comments locked and/or moderated to take any negative ones out. Hence certain celebs with money always have locked comments, but the reality ones on £50 an episode from Towie normally wont pay the moderation fee.
I know Tallia Storms pushy PR mother went overboard on the paid articles for 18 months but never sprang for moderation, trying to combat all the negative and “who is she” comments with a number of fake accounts, all of which got downvoted to hell
