I like her, I feel she has a more unique quality among Influencers where she really doesn’t try to be someone she’s not. At first I was put off by her in a way, but I came around in how genuine I found her and a kind of simplicity in the things she enjoys.

As for the money, it doesn’t confuse me because I feel she just makes a lot from her Influencing job. A lot of people wonder how Influencers can afford their lifestyle, and really for many of them, it’s just that you wouldn’t believe what a single sponsorship would pay. Also, while it’s a nice enough apartment, and for sure it’s ‘expensive’ as it is in a nice location in NYC, it’s also not too extravagant— not even a full one bedroom (a den bedroom with no windows, closet, or door). So she’s technically paying a lot in rent (like the rest of us ugh) but I think she’s living within her means. I don’t think it’s her parents since we have seen they are very working class. She might have some money saved from family though.

Also this isn’t even to defend her, but I am similar to her with weight and trying to eat to gain. I think it does make a different what she is eating— eggs, veggies, etc., and working out a lot. From my perspective, she eats pretty normally for someone who is smaller, active, and probably hungry a lot, and I feel kind of bad for her with the comments about her overeating in case she has any ED history and is trying to overcome it.

Anyway that’s not to rave about her, because she definitely has faults, and I’m glad there is a thread for her.

Which is even more suspicious cause she’s still claiming her parents sold their car to afford her uni in Korea and that she wasn’t well off - meanwhile she lived in her own apartment which had to be crazy expensive and still managed to have her first plastic surgeries. Pretty off.

I wouldn't be surprised if this makes Michelle a bit depressed tbh. I know it's still a flight away. But she seems a bit bored and isolated already stuck in that big house.

I swear I've seen her brother in one of her vlogs, but she literally never mentions him. You'd think she was an only child.

I just watched her most recent video.Her returning the very expensive bag he bought her is so weird and her explanation as to why she returned it made absolutely no sense.It borders on rude to do something like that.I've said this before, but I think he is way more into her than she is into him.It 's very obvious how besotted he is and she always seems so lukewarm towards him.

So strange. So she returned the bag and kept the money? Didn't even ask him if he would exchange it for something else?
She didn't seem that pleased about the indoor adventure thing he had planned for her birthday either. (I wouldn't have been either tbh but that isn't the point ).

She looks really depressed and unkempt in her new video. Wonder why that is..probably their relationship is not the best. It would have been better if she would buy the house alone, she has the money, and less risk.

Does she have any siblings? Very lovely video, but I did catch myself wondering why I was watching a video about a random older couple. Not that they aren't sweet or that it wasn't a sweet trip! Just the places YT leads you too. I can't belive she's moving again so soon, but I think she loves moving, gives her "content"

Yes…her vibes lately are not it. And, I actually feel like her boyfriend enjoys being in the vlogs getting all this attention. They do these cringey things together..like when they were salsa dancing on the streets with the camera quite a bit away from them. This isn’t a K-drama… I was like what..Why is she doing that?

As an influencer/model himself,he's probably desperate for her to unblur him and get some exposure.Even though we don't see his face,he's always sounded very comfortable being on camera and in her vlogs.

Michelle used to be so real…I feel her newly formed friendships with lots of superficial influencers from Korea have somewhat changed her.

Her new bf looks like the epitome of Asian American try hard guys… Ivan was so much better. It’s great he’s a Doctor, but a Model and Influencer?… Mm.. it looks like he modeled for some underwear brands… he’s a bit much.

I have no idea why I still watch her videossss. I find her videos so boring, but still watch hoping they'll be something. I love her food ones though. Although trust her to pick the blandest contact lenses for the advert, the difference was so subtle that I don't know why anyone would bother.
