It's good to see a thread about him. I came across his youtube shorts a few weeks back out of the blue. God knows why they were on my recommendations exactly, but maybe it was something to do with me having watched some taste test videos, similar to what he's doing on TT and YT.
At first I thought it was entertaining to watch as I enjoy those food tasting videos, but then I remembered about the body in the pool and how nothing ever really came about regarding it, and that story is so dark. I was only young back then so wasn't really aware of MB as much, although I do remember shows with him on.
I can certainly understand why younger people would have no idea about his tv career or life away from it. Watching him greet people in some of his videos does seem odd. Do those people (the older folk/fans) forgive and forget? I saw one where he had just moved to devon. He was introducing himself to some shop owners. Maybe they just want custom and don't want to question themselves or their morals when meeting him. God only knows.

This is exactly my view too. I only recently came across this thread on here. The only reason I will give him the occasional view is his dog as we also have hounds.
It was weird seeing him pop up as a recommendation on my youtube feed. I thought "wtf is michael barrymore doing on youtube" and checked his shorts out.
I think the one that was recommended to me first was him eating a bunch of Colin the caterpillar cakes. I did wonder where the hell he puts all that food, he was munching down on them cakes like he hasn't seen food in months.

Given I haven't been following whats been happening with MB up until recently when I was made aware of his channel via YT algorithm, I didn't realise he had a mild stroke fairly recently (within the last couple years or so?) and he also suffers from seizures and is on meds. That's what I read up anyway.
I noticed someone on his comment section ask where he gets his money from. He (or his YT help) replied explaining all of his sources of income.

You hear about so many celebrities from the 90s who were pretty big, but now are financially struggling a fair bit. I suppose their struggle and our struggle is vastly different, eh.

I think his wife Cheryl was very good at managing his money, he repaid her by savagely beating her and coming out gay
Back in his heyday he must have earnt a fortune, his wife was a savvy and astute businesswoman/manager, his money will have (only my opinion) been invested for his future, pension, etc etc. He was always going to be comfortable in older age.
The TT/sm platforms must be bringing him in a nice sum to top up. He looks to have done and is doing well on sm. I only found out pretty recently about TT, came up somewhere and I thought wth is he doing now. I don't watch him, occasionally I'll see something online.
I wouldn't wish bad health on anyone, but I do believe in Karma. It's come for him.
Talking of old age and health I wonder if people who have secrets are ever worried about getting something like dementia and revealing their secrets.

It was a trend on TT. Everyone was doing vids saying they had a nasty comment from someone who works at a spa and they're going to get their hole bleached or waxed etc.... he's just trying to fit in with the kids and copying a trend that started last year.
He's been sitting in his car eating five caterpillar cakes and people think he's great.
