Does anyone follow Fashion Critical on Facebook? They always do a funny review of each outfit at events. They’ve just put up the met gala reviews, their well funny. I could spend hours on their page laughing 
Here are the looks I liked from the night. I can’t say loved because they just didn’t quite hit it for me but very close. I think Whitney Peak is my favourite and Yara Shaidi. Lupita nailed it because what’s more American than denim?!
Here are the ones that I thought didn’t quite hit the mark and with a few changes I would like them. I would have liked Lily-Rose Depop’s outfit if it was a dress and not a two piece. Margaret Qualley’s was nice but with a different shoe? And maybe a touch fitted. Rita Ora’s would be better if it wasn’t wore by Rita Ora.
These are the outfits where I loved the colour but not the actual outfit whatsoever.

Outfit and hair suck but it’s nice seeing Kristen comfortable. She seems to have really gained a lot of self confidence since coming out!
I like her jacket. If she was wearing that with a silk top and black cigarette trousers at a premiere it would look great.

There is something about the Met Gala that reminds me of the Hunger Games movies… the way the rich people in the Capital dress is very Met Gala or the other way around! I know it’s to raise money for a cause (the costume section of the Met!!) and I get that it’s a “fun”event but, there is something kinda tone deaf about it as an event and it takes itself very seriously!
Kendall Jenner looked very well but am I imagining it or did Kim or Kylie or both wear a similar nakedy/bejewelled/flesh coloured thong underneath style dress to previous Met Gala (am too lazy to look for the picture, but may also have been Givenchy)?!
I think the Jenner/Kardashians decide in advance whose turn it is to be ultra glam at the event & this time it was Kendall’s turn!

Doesn’t look tailored for him at all. this makes me sad actually because it’s his first red carpet event since coming out and it would’ve been awesome for him to have had a really good outfit for that.
I honestly feel like the theme was really boring or the majority of the celebrities took it as 'dress as you normally do'
