i totally agree that spending christmas alone is hard but there are people who genuinely can’t spend it with their families for various reasons. as far as im aware she can easily go home, and i’m sure she will?

Tbf though she is very young still. Imo it's healthy to experience different long term relationships in life, it can help you decide what you do and don't want and then when you ultimately meet the person you want to be with forever, you know from experience that they're right for you as you've had different relationships that weren't. There's nothing wrong with creating memories with someone and then deciding it isn't right (especially in your early 20s), it's much better than forcing a relationship to work just because you've given 4 years of your life to it. 4 years is a very short time in the scheme of a whole life
