Awww my sons July he’s never been bothered about anything like that but a few of his friends were the same as your little one. But after a few days they all settled. Don’t get me wrong I’m sure they all have off days etc …she’s put in that end of year post that Emily still cries every day I’m sorry but she’s nearly 5 and half!

We potty trained both of our children during the Christmas break because my partner was off work so meant we could stay home and get stuck into it, it worked well for us.

i think it’s a good idea, especially if that’s a time you’re off work so you can give it your all. For us, it’s a chilled time, house is full of new toys so there’s no boredom and need to be going here there and everywhere.

She's so smug with her "not watching TV eating snacks, that's for sure" comment. I don't plonk my kids in front of the TV everyday but similarly I work so can't take them places after school like I would wish to. Its very easy for someone that doesn't work and is a mum of one to focus all their attention. It just came across as quite rude. That's great for her that she has so much time on her hands that she can fill her days with instagram, kitchen cleaning times lapses and gym sessions....

I don’t think she meant it that context to be honest. I think she was meaning that’s what she’d like to happen, but Emily is still so full of energy that she doesn’t want to sit in front of the tv.
