What’s more is she made him out to be harmless. I may be old fashioned here but he’s out working long hours so she can stay at home with the kids. my parents did the same my mam always had the dinner ready sure she had to feed us & herself aswel and she liked us all sitting together. Even now she’d say oh I have to get home and get the dinner on for your dad. We always say you’d swear dad would kill her for not having the dinner on when some nights she’d give him a bowl of cereal for dinner it’s just the way she says it. She could get a part time job I’m sure if she wanted her “own” money

When you’re a SAHM, you essentially work a 24 hour day, 7 days a week. For no money. So without any help, it’s a little inequitable for one person to work all the time. Also, just because someone works outside the home, it doesn’t exempt them from parenting their children or sticking on the dinner.

I’m so shocked catching up on this thread. I really love(d?) Trish’s page.

I can’t support her now though knowing her partners background and dangerous opinions. There’s absolutely no way in hell she doesn’t share some of his harmful views. You are the company you keep, and staying happily with someone like that is condoning his views. It’s that simple.

It’s not just a case of someone supporting Sinn Fein and someone else supporting FF/FG. This man is publicly spreading Trump propaganda and sharing hateful views on Trans people. If this is what he puts out to the public, what does he say behind closed doors? I could not stay with my husband if those were his views, they’re way too harmful. It’s shocking.

I didnt know that philip had been actually been convicted of animal cruelty. It's Trish's instagram account, why we would she need to address her husband's conviction(s)? He's a grown adult let him defend himself.

Who knows what conversations they've had about this? What action Trish has tried to take in the past. Do people suggest she should leave him over it?
He is from Baldoyle and they now live in Ashbourne why would he have had all these animals in Tallaght? It's all very strange. He's clearly an ignorant, male chauvinist throw back going by his comments but they're his comments, not Trisha's and if she can still love him and live with him and be happy with him and her family then that's her business. I think the comments about her needing to address her husband's actions are just ridiculous!

Trish herself posted videos of the falcon in their home which by the way is illegal they are protect species & should never be pets.

Thanks, Trish could easily come back and go back to how things were, she’s too well liked and missed. Always enjoyed her stories and content. Oh I've read worse on here, don't get me wrong, I'm not a naive newbie, just only recently created an account. I think this just makes me uncomfortable because she's not some big celeb out there raking in a fortune off putting their life out there on show. She's just a normal girl from up the road who's really just having the chats on instagram having a laugh, getting a few #gifted here and there but would be in no way equiped to deal with reading this on here. Just imagining how I'd feel. Allegedly her partner was prosecuted for the worst case of animal cruelty the DSPCA has ever seen’ involving dogs, horses, birds & other animals I can’t remember. He was fined €100,000 but due to a technicality he got off.... they currently keep birds of prey, dogs & pigeons (I think they may be used as bait for the birds of prey) have sheds out the back of their house. She had photos & videos on her FB showing chicks (kestrel or something like that) in her kitchen.....

Fucking hell I only followed her for a few weeks and then she vanished. I was liking her but I suppose you'd never know what someone is involved with. Avid animal lover here and if my partner was doing that there would be hell to pay. Not a chance I'd stay with him and then a blind eye to it. These animal abusers always get off.

To be honest I don’t get why would need to tell anyone about Phil being on Social media she probably knew people would go looking for his page, maybe she is mortified with stuff he puts online I know I do be of my husband but I can’t control how he thinks or what he posts.
I don’t get the animal cruelty thing at all if that’s true it’s disgusting, but plenty of people keep lurchers for lamping, ferrets for catching rats a lot if farmers allow lads lamping onto their land to help with over population, I don’t agree with it it’s barbaric but sadly it happens.

I don’t blame her or judge over Philips life but if he has mistreated animals has them locked in a shed well then i’m sorry she’s every bit as guilty as he is! She lives with him so it’s not as if she didn’t know or got with him after that charge. Been cruel to any animal is beyond disgusting and if she has been with him throughout all that she’s just as guilty as he is.

I know lots of men in particular who have Instagram but never use it.

Just because my husband has an opinion political or otherwise we can disagree and I can still love him while trying to educate him/show him other points of view. If her hubby is a trump/sinn fein supporter doesn't mean Trish is. If my husband supported Trump it doesn't mean I should lose my job over it!!

Animal cruelty is disgraceful. There's no evidence to show that he was convicted. Only hearsay on this as far as I can see.
