I also liked it but I do feel like it had seriously declined in quality and just became a podcast to discuss pop culture, which is fine but deviated from the original premise. I feel like they ran out of topics.Did anyone see Cancelled has finished? It was one of my fav shows

Yep I skipped those episodes. Well I thought I’d give the first one a chance but quickly got bored so didn’t bother when the second one dropped. I agree, the lazy gewl stuff felt quite meta as well with the assumption everyone listening would also listen to and care about everything else they did. But the first 3/4 of the podcast series was great!
Some savage but very fair criticism going on in the fb group.

The twins giggling all the time like they were in on a private joke drove me mad. I couldn’t listen to it. I tried.
That's literally what it was, especially in the birth episode where they kept saying vacuum really bizarrely like "va-khum"

Not sure which other thread to put this in so I’ll put it here given Paula Joye is Mia’s bestie. The comments she made about Alicia Keys looking like a flight attendant on ‘Batik Air’or a ‘welcome statue at an island resort’ are horrendously racist in my opinion!! Awful, racist connotations. I bet she wouldn’t have said those if Alicia was white. Gross comments and she should be ashamed

I work in book publishing, it’s very rare that an author would be able to make a living off royalties alone. Definitely not an option for her short or medium term.
