Mia and Jason would sell off MM in a heartbeat if they found a buyer.Would have a modicum of respect if they admitted it was a family business and the appointment aligned with that.
It’s at 39:40 for those who, like me, can’t get thru a whole episode these daysIf you want a lol, listen to the last of the Wednesday episode of mmol. Luca, Jessie, Mia and most painfully Holly awkwardly explaining away the decision
He gives me the biggest ick![]()
Meet Luca Lavigne, the 28-year-old boss of Mamamia
When Mumbrella sat down with the outgoing and incoming bosses of women’s media network Mamamia — Nat Harvey and Luca Lavigne, respectively — we were relishing asking the obvious question: how is a 28-year-old qualified to run a business? It turns out 28-year-olds, like all people, come in...mumbrella.com.au
Merit based no doubt![]()
I’m annoyed that my brain remembers this but Spring St is in New York and I think it was the street they had an office on or something.Frank & Flo that was then rebranded into Spring St and lasted about a year? I remember it. Why they chose a name that sounds like a period product then changed it to something they probably found by pointing randomly at a map, I'll never know.
There was also a brief attempt to add a Mamamia branded Catch of the Day style marketplace site. That one got all the hype then disappeared and was never spoken of again. That was just before they pivoted to podcasts, I think.
There's really no trend too stupid for Mia not to chase. If women were smashing themselves in the jaws with hammers like Clavicular, she'd be launching an app and a series of podcasts for it.
I own a shirt from this brand and if you have a look at their website there are some cute ones, but the Paula Joye range is absolutely uglyHere is Mia spruiking one of Paula Joyes shirts. Could she possibly make it look worse? View attachment 3549160
It's school holidays so probably on a nice family holiday to relax and destress, I mean they really need it.Nup! And Jesse was also missing from todays episode![]()
A 27 year old Michelle Battersby > Luca LavigneAt a women’s media company too. Like, I could understand a 27 year old woman because younger generations definitely have a lot to add to the discourse (think Hannah Ferguson). But the combination of 27yo male, no real studies, meteoric rise to the top… yeah nah.
The parasocial relationship the out louders have with Mia is seriously ridiculous. Some of these Outlanders are seriously pathetic
Wow! I just searched for it but couldn’t see it anywhere. I hope whoever wrote that is a Tattler and can spill some more tea!Interesting comment on this post
I think Luca and Mia have a bizarre relationship and he chosen someone similar to his mum (outspoken, writer, ‘feminist) and Mia also had Luca at 25, as she loves to repeat. She honestly makes herself out to be the youngest person to have ever had a childI agree they won't last, BUT I'm going to differ on the mates thing - it's not that uncommon for the super rich to make random "bohemian" choices like having a kid at 25. In a way it's like a flex, like oh oops we had a kid but it's fine because we've got money for nannies, extra houses, holidays as usual, and any school we want. He will probably have a second family once Jessie has wrangled a settlement.
What in the nepotism is happening over there???The outgoing CEO only lasted 2 years
I wonder if anything is going on there. I know we can't glean everything from Insta but I noticed Mia & holly didn't like or comment on Clare's podcast launch post and Clare didn't comment on either of Jessie's pregnancy announcement posts and I thought she would especially because of the twin aspect. Obviously they know and talk to each other in real life but it looks a bit weird from an outside perspectiveAnd of course she announced it the week of Clare's book release...
Literally insane because they are the brand. Just the sheer laziness of MMKelly from you beauty interviewing those twins who used to be on the block and didn’t know they were sisters, let alone identical twins
