Also curious what she means by “dead babies”. Clem shared a heap yesterday, but they weren’t graphic. Just sweet little lives taken far too soon that deserve to be remembered. I’m not sorry if that makes you uncomfortable. It should.

I think the only vague reference to the twins was saying something about Mamamia employees and nepotism but really Mia’s son is the main beneficiary there. I am not a Clem or Mamamia fan (obviously, I’m on this thread) but in my opinion MM & co come off looking far worse in this exchange.

Haha that’s ok, when it’s fresh in your memory I do think it’s good to tell someone about it that’s why I didn’t really mind when Jessie first told it on MMOL, you want to tell someone as it’s obviously extremely significant & it’s important to US. But the fact all these months later she hasn’t realised that it’s not that interesting to others & is now involving Luca in the discussion. Would love others thoughts on him in this convo, I thought he came across as so boring!!!

Yea it’s definitely their mum. I’m not sure what she hoped to achieve by messaging Clem. This was always going to be the outcome (blasted on her social media and made the situation worse)

We all think our birth stories are interesting but …… they are really only interesting to us.

Why would she message Clem? It’s so deranged to think ‘my poor darling daughters are receiving crappy messages on social media, I better step in here’. They are grown women. They benefit wildly from social media, they can deal with the pitfalls as well. How embarrassing for them!

And it’s got absolutely nothing to do with Clem anyway?!? Makes more sense to message Mia and be like, “hey! Because of YOUR stance, my daughters are copping heat”.

But either way, grown ass adults raising their own kids now. Give it a rest mum.

How embarrassing for the twins to have mummy step in to scold Clem for something that doesn’t have anything to do with Clem.

The horrific images of what is happening in Gaza are all over the internet. I have sympathy that Claire is about to give birth and Jessie is a new mum, seeing images of dead babies would be particularly triggering.

But they’re sitting pretty allowing Mia to use her own bias and Zionism to run the media narrative at Mamamia. I hope they’re getting heat for it, their complete silence about this conflict is unforgivable.

Don’t like images of dead babies? Maybe sit with that and call for a ceasefire like millions of other mothers around the country.

It’s really bizarre. Of course a mother feels protective. And those twins would be very aware of Clem’s predisposition to social media blasts so I doubt they had anything to do with it. But is she honestly asking clem to be quiet on her OWN PLATFORM? Sure, if she was sending the dead baby photos to the twins then maybe tell her to stop (even then, I’m sure the THIRTY TWO YEAR OLD twins can speak for themselves), but it’s her OWN INSTAGRAM and she is sharing images that are everywhere.

And yep, dead baby photos might be triggering. COMPARE THAT TO THE MOTHER OF THE DEAD BABY.

sorry. Caps. Sad and angry.

But what has that got to do with Clem or her page?? She certainly hasn’t directed anyone to do that.
Yeah I don't understand that either.
I read the message as the mother asking clem to tone it down as Clem's followers have been sending her pregnant daughter photos of dead babies.

You can’t message people and police their page, especially as she hasn’t even mentioned these women. At all. Anyone sending any images of dead anyone to people are insane. Block!

Can you imagine the outrage if someone messaged Mia and asked her to stop posting about sparkly outfits or "lazy gewl" on her Instagram?

this turn of events is pretty hilarious to me when self righteous Jessie (and Mia) has been on the podcast multiple times criticising parents of millenials who get involved in their adult child's study or work place
and her mother is a teacher herself. What the fuck is she thinking?!
But as I said - all pretty hilarious to me.

The irony is that on Mamamia Outloud they make fun of parents who complain on their adult kids behalf.

They even added it on Strife when the intern’s Mum called Mia, I mean, Asher Keddie, who’s definitely not playing the character of Mia

Guys come on
Its fiction
Its based on only
But there are all these things that actually did happen

The twins mother gives off some desperate fan girl energy about Mia, it’s really weird. She seems to spent the majority of her time on that group defending Mia, or the twins, or the podcasts and its guests. It comes off as creepy.
