I don’t think I’ve bought anything I’ve seen gifted to people who have more than enough money to buy it ever. It puts me off. Like Jo Malone and all baby companies giving everything free and want me to spend £££

100% influencers being gifted crap really doesn’t make me want to buy anything especially when it’s to the same people over and over, I don’t mind sometimes when it’s a small business who doesn’t charge 100s for their items but when it’s someone like mamas and papas gifting a £1000 pram to an influencer who can 1. Afford it or 2. Already has a pram then that really pisses me off

Sorry I’m not a parent, and I understand to parents that their child is the beacon of life but I am just sick to death of the baby Nova this, Nova that - she’s no interior blogger anymore which is where her followers are built from.
And where the heck are her dogs, first Alfie the spaniel gets shunned when she gets her batpig dog, then as soon as the baby comes both dogs are shunned. And don’t they have a cat too? And seeing her gifted a free stay somewhere in the current covid climate is gross... she lives off a trust fund it just doesn’t sit right with me. Gggrrrr rant over!

on another note her business accounts are online for anyone interested, that is no fat wedge however...

She must get anxiety when the kid is asleep for not having anything to post it’s a bit extreme with the kid photos give it a rest!!! Most kids her age are cute I am am parent and I’m really not interested photos of her child waving is anyone!? She’s hardly an informative mum blogger so now she’s forgot about interiors i have to unfollow! Also I think her partner is v unattractive sorry had to get that in!

So happy to find this thread! Don’t have major tea but she is from my home town so it was weird when I saw on insta what she does now!

Everrrrything she posts is an AD good god a Tesco hoodie and joggers who cares or needs an affiliate link for this crap and I am bored rigid of the baby posts and don’t get me started on the free kitchen! Genuinely wouldn’t give these companies my custom and money knowing that it would be a subsidy for these beggars.

If she constantly gets messages about where stuff is from, why not just write it on the story in the first place. Job done. If you're showing something off then naturally someone is going to want to know where it's from. Surely creating aff links for stuff is the bit that actually takes time as well. But they'll always do it as it makes them . Writing on a story "from H&M" doesn't take long but that won't pay them commission. So either take the short option for free or get paid but don't moan that it takes time

I’m not mad about the free kitchen. She’s primarily an interiors blogger and her following is so makes sense for a home company to work with her. She gets a gifted kitchen and the company gets exposure. The baby coming home story was in bad taste, weird considering poor mum and baby were in hospital for so long, thought it would be special and private to have that moment.

I don’t get why they’re converting a bedroom into a dressing room - if they didn’t, that bedroom could be the baby room, and the guest bedroom could be his daughter/her stepdaughter’s room. Then they can still convert the loft when they get chance. Seems very odd to prioritise a dressing room over children’s rooms.
