Peter bloody Hitchens at it again. He must have the most raging hard-on ever for LL to still be this fixated on championing her.

You can completely appreciate why they don't come out highlighting the evidence of her guilt. They are like a baying mob with pitchforks if anyone disagrees with them and calls her the murderer that she is.
Oh for sure, I don't blame them. I just feel like everything's getting out of control. And there's a book coming out next month by Christopher Morris about how it's all a MOJ  when will it end!!

I thought they shut down the entire neo natal unit afterwards?
No, the hospital invested in a new women and children’s building (Letby was the face of the fundraising campaign 🙄) and they closed the old unit down to move into the new building. But that’s all. Can’t remember what year that was though.

I listen to The Trial pod & noticed an influx of low reviews for it. Reading them there’s a theme of calling Caroline & Liz biased in their reporting. A few of these reference Letby & I suspect the rest are Letby supporters.

Obviously they’re oddballs but it’s ludicrous to suggest impartiality needs to remain after conviction!

I loathe the Daily Mail but that’s a really well done pod & I respect Caroline & Liz.
Sidebar but I know quite a few journalists who have written for the Mail. Some of them are aligned with its politics and shitty ragebait stuff, others recognise the value of the huge platform it has to get good journalism out there. I'd put Caroline and Liz in that category.

Does anyone know roughly when the CCRC will make their decision?
I'd be surprised if it's 2026. The CCRC take ages anyway - add to that the delays in making submissions and obtaining a waiver of privilege. Even 2027 might be optimistic.

Is that who people were talking about a few weeks ago? I googled as didn't understand why people were talking about him/who he was in relation to the case. Can't recall his name now though anyway (not that I'd post it) but wow-that was Dr A?!
Yes, he started off as Dr A but ended up almost going through the alphabet, he had a different letter in every court case.

My blood has just gone cold. Just seen that the mystery lover boy has died. Oliver Rackham also has just died and was in his 50s … could Oliver Rackham - if named in certain parts of the trial, also be the mystery dr? Just seems a bit weird to me that two Drs from the North West in their 50s have both died? He was also unwell, and also moved hospitals - probably around 2020?
The BF wasn’t him :)
